LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION

I have great pleasure in recommending Mr. Karthik.S in his pursuit of higher educational qualification Masters Degree in Civil engineering. I have been acquainted with Karthik for the past three years as a student of undergraduate studies under the school of Civil Engineering in our institute. I have handled Concrete Technology, Highway and Railway Engineering and Traffic Engineering in the third, fifth and sixth semesters of his undergraduate studies respectively. He has consistently performed well and always has been one of the most attentive and inquisitive students of my class. He has a good understanding of the fundamentals in these subjects which will help him a great deal in furthering his skills during the graduate studies. He is articulate and can express himself very well both in formal teaching contexts and in informal discussions. In these years of acquaintance I have found his ideas to be innovative and creative .This was demonstrated by the work he did on his project Design and Analysis of a multi storey residential building using STAAD.Pro. Apart from academics, he also takes interest in extra-curricular activities by participating in Daksh- a national level technical festival and is in the organizers team for Kuruksastra- a national level cultural festival, both held annually in the university. He is also an active member of a local football club in the institution and has participated in a number of intra college competitions like Feuera and Joga Bonito. He is interested in strengthening his academic proficiency by pursuing his Masters in Civil Engineering. I believe that his endurance and analytical skills will contribute significantly to the research at your institute and I strongly recommend him for the graduate program at your university.
