Smart Filter
The NX system is equipped with a Smart Filter function, which allows you to express your own creativity. This function provides a total of 11 digital filter effects, in which unique digital effects are added to the effects of the optical filters used for film cameras, and you can take creative photos by using the varied and interesting qualities of these filters.

Magic Frame

The Magic Frame function provides 13 frames and allows users to put a photo onto a variety of interesting backgrounds. This function also lets you create an interesting photo by inserting appropriate persons or objects into the frames.

Panorama shooting
The Samsung Smart Camera NX can automatically create a panoramic photo. Even with an extreme wide angle lens it is quite difficult to capture a wide landscape, but when you use this Panorama function, the camera automatically shoots a panoramic photo, moving from side to side, just as if you were taking an entire scene in video.

3D shooting
The digital 3D function satisfies the recent boom in 3D imaging. While you can't see a 3D photo taken in 3D Scene mode on the camera itself, you can use a 3D TV to see a life-like 3D photo.

Picture Wizard : Cool

Picture Wizard
The Samsung Smart Camera NX is equipped with many functions to allow for various creative activities, and the Picture Wizard is one of them. The Picture Wizard can change the overall atmosphere in a photo as well as provide basic modifications to color, contrast, and sharpness, and can be used easily and usefully by photographers for their own works of art. For detailed settings, Standard reproduces a standard image, Vivid emphasizes original colors, Portrait maintains natural skin tones, Landscape vividly captures skies and landscapes, Forest emphasizes blues, Retro reproduces retro style images, Cool delivers cool and cold, Calm expresses quiet and calm, and Classic creates black and white. Users can also set color, chroma, sharpness, and contrast according to their preference or the nature of the photo into 3 customized settings, and retrieve them at any time for application.

Smart Range
When you shoot scenes containing subjects having different degrees of brightness, you usually have no option but to set the exposure for only one of them, whereas Smart Range (HDR) compensates overexposed or underexposed areas and creates a very natural photo with a broad gradation. You can use this function to create an effective image in cases where there are significant differences in exposure levels. The Smart Range function enables the use of HDR in the camera. This function records one shot with exposure based on a dark area and a second with exposure based on a bright area, and then combines these two shots to make one photo, for which the camera has taken two consecutive shots. For this function it is best to use a tripod, and it is limited to static subjects such as landscapes and still objects. Shooting moving subjects with this function requires more caution, because areas in which a subject moves may turn out blurred.

HDR(High Dynamic Range) : This refers to a technology that can articulate the details of very dark and very bright areas, beyond the range of expression, with gradation in the sensor. Even very bright areas can be represented with natural details, and very dark shadows can also be expressed naturally. Usually a software post-compensation is made after shooting, but the NX camera provides the compensation within the shooting stage, using the Smart Range function.

Selective Color
The Selective Color function has just been added to the newly-launched NX system. After retrieving a photo, this function allows you to change all the colors in it to black and white, apart from the color you wish to maintain. In order to emphasize a specific area of the image, you can choose to keep that part of the picture in a certain color, and change the rest to black and white. You can also select red, green, blue, or yellow directly from the display screen, using the given four modes: R, G, B, and Y.

After applying the smart filter (Sketch), apply the selective color (yellow).
