SUBJECT : Protection No.4 of injection pipe crack from vibration MODELS : MUSSO & KORANDO CONDITION:
In engine running, the neck point toward injection pump of No. 4 injection pipe might happen crack due to the engine vibration.

CORRECT
Through identifying the target vehicle from the enclosed VIN list, install the supplied bracket following the work procedure. If the pipe is cracked, at first replace it with new one, and install the bracket. It is possible to identify the crack pipe by fuel smell or engine shaking.

Work procedure
1. Remove the cylinder head cover. 2. Check the pipe-injection. - If the injection pipe is cracked, replace it. 3. Make the hole which size is 5 10mm in the intake manifold with a drill and tap which specification is M6 - If the vehicle has a hole already, you don't need to make the hole. intake manifold

5. Input the clip-bracket to the #4 pipe-injection. [Caution] Injection pipe must be inputted to the rear concave position. rear concave front concave clip-bracket injection pump #4 pipe

6. Assemble the bracket-injection pipe and clip-bracket. insert the clip-bracket

support rubber

7. Mounting the bracket-injection pipe to the intake manifold with bolt. - Mounting Bolt size is 10mm and tightening torque is 10N.m(89lb-in).

[Caution] Be careful that the injection pipe is not damaged by abnormal force. 8. Install the cylinder head cover.
