1) Study the features of the support pack and update SPAM, transports, and database tools. 2) Check the current patch levels in the system and download any missing support packs and patches. 3) Extract the downloaded files and copy them to the appropriate directories. 4) Execute SPAM to load the packs and patches, update SPAM, and start the patch application. 5) Make sure all users log off and confirm the queues to complete the support pack upgrade.
