1.1 This procedure outlines the requirements when handling and installation of tower and its
accessories. The items covered are as follows:

INSTALLATION METHOD
4.1 Mark out locations where tower is to be installed and conduct necessary site measurements to
note if there is any deviations from equipment drawing.
4.2 Check the anchor bolts dimension, quantity, elevation and the orientation of the concrete
foundation against the tower skirt baseplate.
4.3 Install the soleplate padding level.
4.4 After lifting the towers into position, lock nuts of anchor bolt. Later, tightened it to the specified
torque value.
4.5 Conduct the following inspection before and after grouting: : a. Plumbness for the vertical shall be made by viewing from two direction 90 deg.
b. Levelness, orientation and interference

ALIGNMENT
Plumbness of the towers shall be checked not to exceed a certain tolerance value. Other information
refers to ITP.

GROUTING
Unless otherwise specified, grouting shall be carried out in accordance with the following:

6.1 Foundation surface shall be cleaned thoroughly and be removed of any dirt or oily spots. Surface
of foundation shall be wetted thoroughly with fresh water prior to grouting.
6.2 Portland cement mortar may be used and mixing ratio with clean fine sand shall be
approximately 1: 2 in volume and ratio of water to cement shall be less than 40 % in volume.
6.3 Grouting on base plate shall be:
a. Space under the base plate shall be packed fully with non-shrink grout
b. All shims and wedges shall be fully cover with grout
c. After pouring, excess grout shall be trimmed and surface of mortar outside of the base plate
shall be finished smoothly.
