Duct Design Calculation Sheet: Note:-Take the Value of α & β from above table use in the calculation

This document contains calculations for the design of a duct including thickness, bending stress, shear stress, deflection, and stiffener requirements. Key inputs include a pressure of 768 mm H2O, duct width of 1000 mm and height of 3000 mm. Calculations determine the required thickness as 4 mm based on the pressure, dimensions and allowable stresses. Bending moment, stresses, and deflection are then calculated and found to be within acceptable limits. Stiffener requirements are also calculated and the provided section is found to have sufficient modulus of inertia.
