Comparatives & Superlatives Future with "going to" Future with "will"
We use comparative adjectives to describe people and things: Im feeling happier now. We need a bigger garden We use "than" when we want to compare one thing with another: New York is much bigger than Boston. He is a better player than Renaldo. Superlative is the top degree or quality of an adjective: Michael is the oldest boy at the party. Katie wore the prettiest dress she owned. Who is the richest man in the world? Sometimes, two things or people are of the same colour, size, weight... so, we need to use "as ... as": Our house is as big as yours. This car is as fast as a train. My bag is as heavy as a big fish.
We use "going to" to express an action that happens in the near future that has already been planned or prepared.
Form:
S + am/are/is (not)+ going to + V
am/are/is + S + going to + V +?
Examples:
