These Smart boards are revolutionizing the education industry. Since the product launched 3 months ago, our customers had a very positive experience with this product. Smart whiteboards are replacing your typical drop down canvas and facilitating the interaction your instructors will have with his/ her students. The major advantage these boards provide is that your instructors will actually be able type, draw, highlight, or control the PC directly from the board itself. This in turn will save vital class time by eliminating the need for the instructor to be walking back and forth to his/her workstation. The Smart whiteboards offered by Wired Telecom will greatly improve the communication between the teacher and students. This technology is the ideal product to bring your classrooms to the next level. With a very minimal cost difference compared to the conventional white boards, you will be guaranteed that your classrooms will stay current with technology for the next five years.

The makers of Smart whiteboards developed this technology with education in mind. All the features that it offers results beneficial to the students or teacher. For example, these Smart whiteboards connect to a variety of different types of devices and operating systems. This allows the end users to create a community within the classroom where students and teachers can interact with class material and create live changes.

Many times students bring in their laptops with saved material for class presentation but end up experiencing problems. When they try to upload it into the classroom desktop, the file are not compatible with the operating system of the desktop. Smart whiteboards solves this issue buy offering five different video inputs into the system. It offers, VGA, HDMI, USB, component, and composite video. This wide array of video signals cover most of the ones out in the current market.

Smart whiteboards are also internet ready. They offer a wired Ethernet port to facilitate internet web connection without the use of a PC. This is extremely useful when the instructor want to bring up a web video or data from the internet. If getting a wired connection becomes a problem, Smart whiteboards also have an optional Wi-Fi adaptor.

Our video conferencing system that comes with the optional teleconferencing package is a great tool feature to have in class. Instead of having guest speakers fly in from out of town, the whole class is able to video conference with a speaker or teacher anywhere in the world.

GENERAL SYSTEM DESCRIPTION The Smart whiteboard installations Wired Telecom is proposing to UTEP consist of two models. The SMART 885ix interactive whiteboard systems will be installed in the classrooms. The SMART Room Systems will be installed in the conference rooms. Smart 885ix interactive whiteboard system The main focus it toward a classroom setting. We will install 15 new whiteboard systems. The whiteboards is ideal for classrooms of 20 to 100 students. Each whiteboard allows up to four students to interact simultaneously. Each system is supplied with a Sharp projector with a brightness output of 4000 lumens. Smart Room System Primary focus is to make video teleconferencing user friendly with simple commands. It has the potential of integrating all the components with in the conference room to effectively transmit all the audio, video and data that is expected at the other end. This system is suitable for conference rooms from 100 to 300 square feet. Its ideal for groups of 2 to 16 people. Each room will have a 84 video display that has the capability of showing pc data, live video, or any other type of image with a few button presses. The system also comes with a wide angle high definition camera to be used in video teleconferencing. Its unique pan, tilt, and zoom feature, give the operator the ability to capture any person in the room that would like to participate in the video conference. The large display control is 11 which creates a very user-friendly and readable dashboard.

Software The Smart 885ix and Smart room system comes with preloaded software version 4.2. The newest feature with this software is multi room combining. It allows for an instructor feed his data into various rooms at the same time. This would be a great feature for times when seating is limited in a classroom. The overflow of students can be relocated to another classroom with a Smart board and they will receive the same instructions.

DELIVERY SCHEDULE Wired telecom has an average product delivery time of 60 days after finalizing the contract. complete the 15 classrooms and the two conference rooms. Our focus is to complete a quality installation and meet your deadline for the project completion. SITE PREPERATION Wired Telecom will work with Dantek Construction in assuring the proper site preparations have been achieved. We will start installation right after the walls have been painted, flooring completed, and all electrical work done. Upon finalizing the contract we will give a set of blue prints to Dantek Construction and one set to Hi Pro Electric Company. We will also do surveys before the installation to assure our requirements are being met by the general contractor.

TRAINING Your system comes with 3 training sessions that could be spread out and used within a year. Smart whiteboard are loaded with features so we recommend that you take full advantage of this powerful system.
