EXPERIMENT NO.1
AIM- To detemine the Thevenin equivalent circuit of a resistive network.
SOFTWARE USED :- Orcad (PSPICE STUDENTs VERSION).
THEORY: - According to thevenin theorem an intricate resistive netwok with voltage source
(excitation source) and a load can be trnsformed into a simpler one by replacing it with a Thevenin
voltage (Vth) and Thevenin equivalent resistance and a load across which response (load current) is to
be d etermined. This is practically examined with the help of PSPICE.
STEP 1-The thevenin voltage (vth) is dteremined.

responseS
SOFTWARE USED :- Orcad (PSPICE STUDENTs VERSION).
THEORY:- % Over shoot for over damped and critically damped is zero for underdamped case
=[peakout- Vout(infinity)x100%.
Rise time is detained as the time required for the o/p voltage to rise from 10% to90%.The sitting time is
required by an underdamped system for its o/p voltage response to reach steady state value.
