Who is Pythagoras?
Pythagoras was a famous mathematician.
He had set up a school, or brother hood, full
of people called the Pythagoreans.
Pythagoras held religious teachings of
Pythagoreanism there, yet they were very
secretive about it. There are many people
who say that the Pythagoreans where the
people who created the new math ways
and Pythagoras just took the credit.
Pythagoras was not only a famous
mathematician. He was well known for his
medicine, music, and also his astronomy.
Pythagoras discovered math in music as
well.
The Pythagorean Theorem
The Pythagorean Theorem is the sum of the

shortest sides, equaling the area of the
