Most Important Listing of Available References Is The Bibliography For Advancement

Advancement in the Navy depends on a sailor's final multiple score (FMS), which combines exam scores with points for time in service, performance, pay grade, awards, and previous exam scores. The easiest factor for a sailor to increase their FMS is improving their raw exam score. Exam candidates should obtain the bibliography for advancement, which lists all references used to create the exam, giving access to every question. Candidates should also review previous exam profile sheets to focus their studying on weak areas identified. Effective study requires utilizing resources like study groups, flash cards, practice exams and attending advancement classes to best prepare.
