3 HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
Not regarded as a health or environmental hazard under current legislation.
4 FIRST-AID MEASURES
INHALATION
Move the exposed person to fresh air at once. Get medical attention if any discomfort continues.
INGESTION
First aid is not normally required. Rinse mouth thoroughly. Drink plenty of water.
SKIN CONTACT
Wash skin thoroughly with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing. Get medical attention if any
discomfort continues.
EYE CONTACT
Promptly wash eyes with plenty of water while lifting the eye lids. Get medical attention if any
discomfort continues.
5 FIRE-FIGHTING MEASURES
EXTINGUISHING MEDIA
This product is not flammable. Use fire-extinguishing media appropriate for surrounding materials.
SPECIAL FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES
No specific fire fighting procedure given.

High concentrations of dust may form explosive mixture with air.

Do not allow to enter drains, sewers or watercourses.

Shovel into dry containers. Cover and move the containers. Flush the area with water. Avoid generation
and spreading of dust.

7 HANDLING AND STORAGE
USAGE PRECAUTIONS
Avoid spilling, skin and eye contact. Avoid handling which leads to dust formation. Provide good
ventilation. Mechanical ventilation or local
exhaust ventilation may be required.
STORAGE PRECAUTIONS
Store at moderate temperatures in dry, well ventilated area. Keep containers tightly closed.

This material is considered a nuisance dust, OES TWA 4mg/m3 Respirable Dust, 10 mg/m3 Total Dust.

Provide adequate general and local exhaust ventilation.

Respiratory protection must be used if air contamination exceeds acceptable level. Dust filter P2 (for
fine dust).
HAND PROTECTION
No specific hand protection noted, but gloves may still be advisable. For prolonged or repeated skin
contact use suitable protective gloves.
