I have just created a micro-budget film production
company with some friends.
I have a crew ready to start making short films, but
first, I have been asked to come up with a proposal for
some video production gear.
Budget: 250,000 to purchase;
A digital cinematography camera
Sound recording equipment
Lighting equipment
Editing equipment
Any equipment extras I feel would be required



Digital Cinematography Cameras

I selected these cameras as they are highly recommended
by media companies and are high quality filming equipment.

Avid Media Composer is a piece of software used by many
film makers for well executed films, it is an expensive
programme but well worth it, and with the programme you
are also going to need desktop computers, and I picked
iMacs as they are recommended for easy use, and great
quality

The Libec Swift Jib Kit is a camera jib that can be used to get
shots from diverse angles and especially high angles. The
OConnor Fluid Head Package is a extremly high end tripod with
many features, this is why it is so expensive because it gives
you amazing stability.

Sound Equipment is key to any production so I have purchased
high quality recording equipment with extra to help against
the elements. I have also purchased boom pole so that we can
get closer to the sounds.

This monitor is a high-quality LCD and high-definition for amazing
viewing quality, the reason its so expensive is that it is packed with
loads of technology and that is a portable screen which is easily
accesable and easy to set up, there main purpose is for the director
to look at and imagine what it would look like on screen.

Above are mixers and recorders these mean you can make the
sound very high-quality and be able to change the sound in many
