Expectations and Requirements of a member:
1) Committee Chairs/members will support Relay For Life through their individual tasks, as well as entire committee functions such as attending Fall and Spring Kick Offs, Bank Nights, and all other activities deemed required of you by the Executive Directors throughout the school year. Also, as a committee chair/member and an advocate in the fight against cancer you will be required to help with publicity, outreach, and recruitment.
2) Expected time commitment is approximately 5-10 hours per week, increasing in the weeks leading up to the event.
3) Entire Committee meetings will be held once a month in the Fall Semester, and every other week in the Spring Semester. Committee chairs will meet twice a month with the Exec in the Fall and Spring.
4) Each member of the committee will be required to join the Committee Team and will also be required to raise $150 on their personal funds. This could be through personal donation, fundraising, or any way you think possible.
5) Committee Chairs will also be in charge of their committees, making sure that their whole committee is at meetings and are doing their jobs throughout the year.
