The new A/ C service unit ACS 600/ 650 series from Bosch t hat was first
unveiled at t he Aut omechanika fair in Frankfurt , Germany, is now available
from wholesalers. The new ACS 600 and ACS 650 A/ C service unit s
developed by Bosch operat e fully aut omat ically and t herefore require no
manual shut off valves. The 3.5-inch color display, exclusive t o Bosch
equipment , and t he menu guidance in 29 different languages bot h enable
simple, int uit ive operat ion. The new Bosch ACS 600 and ACS 650 unit s
now enable car workshops t o ent er int o t he lucrat ive A/ C servicing market
wit h ease.

A furt her benefit for workshops is t he well-designed t rolley concept on t he
new A/ C service unit s. All operat ing and cont rol funct ions are sit uat ed at
t he front for t he first t ime, a part icular advant age given t he oft en cramped
working condit ions in workshops. A 360-degree st at us display on t op of t he
unit and acoust ic signals provide cont inuous monit oring of t he service
st at us. The high degree of precision required when t opping up refrigerant
(+/ - 10 g) ensures greener, more cost -effect ive use of resources, even on
vehicles requiring a low volume of refrigerant . The high level of accuracy
during t he filling process also helps t o prot ect t he A/ C component s and
ensure t hey funct ion well.

The ACS 650 is suit able for fully-aut omat ed service and repair work on A/ C
unit s in passenger cars and commercial vehicles. The Bosch ACS 650 is
also equipped for use wit h larger A/ C unit s, wit h feat ures such as a larger
refrigerant cont ainer and a more powerful vacuum pump. There is also a
built -in log print er as st andard. Apart from it s A/ C service unit s, Bosch

offers a comprehensive range of special accessories such as UV leak
det ect or kit s, digit al t hermomet ers and a number of different flush adapt er
kit s.

In addit ion t o working on t he A/ C unit it self, fault memory and cont rol unit s
oft en need t o be read on modern A/ C unit s. Bosch has a complet e solut ion
t o offer workshops for t his t oo. As well as t he ACS 600 and 650 A/ C
servicing st at ions for mechanical work, Bosch also offers t he KTS series
cont rol unit diagnost ic devices for use in t he workshop. In addit ion, Bosch
Esit ronic soft ware supplies reference dat a and service schedules.

The new ACS 600 and ACS 650 A/ C service unit s from Bosch also enable
workshops t o make a direct cont ribut ion t o environment al prot ect ion.
Regular servicing of A/ C unit s significant ly reduces refrigerant loss.
