Satan has a big problem and its getting bigger
everyday. Like the line from the movie, The Sixth
Sense, Satan only sees dead people. spiritually,
emotionally, financially, and physically; he cannot
see anything else. As Christians, the light in our lives
is blinding to the Prince of Lies. The Holy Spirit that
re-sides in us as a counselor, guide, friend, and
protector is be yond Satan's understanding and grasp.
When we walk according to Gods plan for our
lives it baffles, befuddles, and totally frustrates Satan.
When we live God's way we are closer to him, thus
Satan cannot touch us even though he tries. Our
reliance on God's plan for existence shields us from
any harm. The devil cannot come near where God
resides, he cannot stand it because the light is too
bright for his darkness. As we go about our daily
lives, we must aspire to gravitate towards that light,
then we will be able to shake the devil at every turn.
When looking at others we must not see the worst in
people, we must choose the route of Christ and see the
beauty in them. Don't say I see dead people, say I see
living people. Everyone of us has it in us to aspire to
the highest realms of lip service. We can all talk the
talk, but how many of us can walk the walk? How
many of us know how to walk the Christ walk?
To walk the walk one must become a Disciple of Christ.
The definition of disciple is: "To become a student."
Discipleship requires being told by a higher authority
what to do. For some of us that presents a
problem, but we have to realize that we are not all of
that! Some of us like to envision ourselves as masters
of our fate and captains of our ship. Yet, we are quick
to blame God, Satan, or someone-anyone else when
we enter stormy seas. Following Christ cannot be a
half hearted decision. We cannot allow ourselves to be
taught when we are at the end of our own cleverness.
Christ and only Christ can only be the head of our lives
in our Christian walkHe can never be the tail, or an
appendence. Look at the example of Peter, a disciple
of Christ in the Bible. Luke gives us a fascinating and
in-depth description of Peters moment of decision: a
moment to which other Gospel writers refer to only
briefly.
In Luke 5:111 Jesus was preaching by the seaside,
so pressed by the crowds that He asked Peter to
push his boat out into the water so that He could speak
from there. After He finished speaking, Jesus to Peter
to push his boat deeper into the water and let down his
nets for a catch. Peter was reluctant. He and his
partners had fished all night and had caught nothing.
As a professional fisherman, Peter fished only at night
and then near the shore where schools of fish came in
to forage. Peter agreed reluctantly saying, Master, we
have toiled all night and caught nothing, an
objection which is clearly an implied rebuke.
Nevertheless at Your word I will let down the net
(Luke5:5). The Greek word translated master is
found only in Luke; while it is a term of respect, it is
also somewhat slang, rather like our term boss. Peter
respected Jesus, but Peter was also an exceptional and
successful fisher-man. He had earned enough money
at fishing to move from his hometown of Bethsaida
(John 1:44) to the provincial capital where he built a
large home on ex-pensive land. Its likely that Peter
and his partners also distributed their catch in
Jerusalem itself, where they were well known to the
high priests servants (John 18:15). Yes, Peter
respected Jesus, but Peter thought of himself as the
expert when it came to fishing! when he let down the
nets they were suddenly filled with so many fish that
Peter had to call for his partners to bring another boat.
Peter realized that Jesus had performed a miracle. It
apparently was one thing for Peter to see Jesus
perform miracles for others, but another for Jesus to
perform a miracle for him. Overwhelmed Peter fell
down before Jesus and ex-claimed, Lord, depart from
me, for I am a sinful man (Luke 5:8). Peters whole
attitude underwent a striking change. We see it in the
word he now uses to ad-dress Jesus. Lord (kurios)
was used in ordinary speech to express respect, much
as we say Sir, but Lord was also used of God as the
object of ultimate respect. It was in this sense that
Peter used it as he called Jesus Lord, begging Christ to
leave him saying, I am a sinful man.
Suddenly and unexpectedly Peter had an overwhelming
awareness of just how great the gap was
between himself and Jesus. Humbled, Peter confessed
that he was unworthy of associating with Jesus, the
Lord. Jesus response must have been just as
comforting to Peter as it is to us. Do not be afraid,...
Jesus told His friend. ...from now on you will catch
men (Luke 5:11).
No matter how good we are at what we do, no
matter how accomplished we may be, or conversely
how far we have fallen or what we have done, we
must know this: we are but specks of dust alone without
JESUS in our lives. The old saying is," Dust thou
are, dust thou art return to." The Lord I serve may
have used the materials of earth to make me, but he
made me in his own image! The Lord I serve isn't
dust, he is the Alpha and the Omega, The Prince of
Peace, Elohim , the one true God. It is in his image
alone, not our own, not our parents, or friends that
we are made. When people say they can't find
themselves, they are looking in all the wrong places.
Jesus said in Matthew 7:7,Ask and it will be given to
you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be
opened to you. I am the way, the truth, and the life,
there is no way to the father but through me (John
14:6). God knows the greatness he has placed within
us and the only way for that to manifest is to submit to
the divine authority that Jesus has in our lives.
Submit, accept, receive, believe, grow, and experience
the overflow of Christ in your life. To realize that we
don't have all the answers, to know that we cannot be
a master and a servant, to accept that Christ only
wants our best is the first STEP to walking the walk.

Be Encouragedmy friends when a lie is told against you.
You see a lie is a feeble way that satan uses to try to
introduce darkness into your life, to distract you from the
light. Be Blessedmy friends in the comfort of knowing
that when satan uses a lie to attempt to hurt you, that he
is admitting that your devotion to the KING of kings and
the LORD or lords is hurting him.
Be Strongmy friends you do not suffer or fight for what
is right in vainThe Word of GOD is never in vain ,
never returns void. The seeds of faith that are planted
will always break through the web of darkness and the
stranglehold of lies. Its destiny is in the light, the sun..the
truth. Belovedif they could blame a man who is
blameless, lie on one who was innocent, i think the
enemy will attempt to hurt you and i as believers. Dont
despair for if Christ is In us and for us WHO CAN STAND
AGAINST
USNo weapon formed against the children of GOD will
prosper!
Finally be prayerfulIf a sinner, or saint, a follower or a
LEADER lies on youtreats you unjustlydo not hate
them, or respond in anger(That was my mistake in days
ago), Pray for themThey are in much peril not only
are they in the clutches of the evil onebut they are
messing with GODS childrenNOT A GOOD PLACE TO
BE. Keep them lifted up in prayer Matt 5:14 Love your
enemies
I want to thank almighty GOD for giving me this word to
share with you today, and i wish to thank the person
responsible for my being brought to the place todayBe
Blessed

I am a person who was caught in Hurricane Katrina--I lost
everything, but God blessed me with my life, which so many
others lost. After the storm I had to evacuate from my home
town of New Orleans, and relocate to Illinois. The Lord has
blessed me to have a nice son and daughter-in-law whom I am
living with. God has provided me with new friends, and many
wonderful things that I did not have before. Even though I lost
everything I had: house, apartment, pictures, keepsakes,
clothes, etc. I continually pray for other people who are not as
fortunate as I am. God is a mighty God, and if you pray he can
make anything possible for you. I am an eighty-four year old
senior citizen who is thanking God for all my blessings. I am also
asking that you call on God in your time of need, and I
guarantee that he can and will bless you too.

He leadeth me beside the still waters.

He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness.
- Thats Guidance!
For His name sake
- Thats Purpose!
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death.
- Thats Testing!
I will fear no evil.
- Thats Protection!
For Thou art with me
- Thats Faithfulness!
Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me,

Walk like you Knowby ADAM EDELSTEIN
I know He is the beginning, so why do I worry about the end?
I know He is the creator, so why do I wonder who will destroy?
I know He has forgiven me, so why cant I forgive myself?
I know He is a healer, so why do I speak of sickness?
I know He can do all things, so why do I say I cant?
I know He will protect me, so why do I fear?
I know He will supply all my needs, so why cant I wait?
I know He is my strength and my salvation, so why do I feel weak?
I know that everything and everyone has a season, so why when
someones season is over, do I weep instead of
rejoicing?
I know He is the right way, so why do I go the wrong way?
I know He is the light, so why do I choose to walk in darkness?
I know that whatever I ask of GOD, GOD will give me, so why am I
scared to ask?
I know tomorrow is not promised, so why do I put off for tomorrow
what I can do today?
I know that the truth shall make me free, so why do I continue to lie?
I know He gives us revelation, knowledge and understanding, so why do
I lean on my own understanding?
I know I should live in the spirit as well as walk in the spirit, so why do I
choose to live in the spirit, but walk in
the flesh?
I know that when praises go up, blessings come down, so why do I
refuse to praise Him?
I know I am saved, so why do I refuse the word He has given me?
I know He has a plan for me, so why am I rushing it because I am eager
to do His will, when it is His time not
my time? The shortest distance between a problem and a solution is the
distance between your knees and the floor.
The one who kneels to the Lord can stand up to anything!

I THREW IT OUT
Last week I threw out Worrying,
It was getting old and in the way.
It kept me from being me;
I couldn't do things my way.
I threw out those Inhibitions;
They were just crowding me out.
Made room for my New Growth,
Got rid of my old dreams and doubts.
I threw out a book on My Past
(didn't have time to read it anyway)
Replaced it with New Goals,
Started reading it today.
I threw out childhood toys
Remember how I treasured them so?
Got me a new Philosophy too,
Threw out the one from long ago
Brought in some new books too,
Called I Can, I Will, and I Must.
Threw out I might, I think and I ought.
Wow! You should've seen the dust.
I picked up this special thing
And placed it at the front door.
I Found It -- its called Peace
Nothing gets me down anymore.
Yes, I've got my house looking nice.
Looks good around the place
For things like Worry and Trouble
There just isn't any place.
Its good to do a little house cleaning,
Get rid of the old things on the shelf.
It sure makes things brighter
Thank you God for cleaning up my-self.

Christianity means having faith in Jesus as our Savior and Lord.
It means to trust in the Bible as Gods Holy Infallible Word.
It is realizing sin separates us from God who is righteous and just;
Knowing we cant be reconciled on our own, so in Christ we trust.
It is understanding we can not earn Gods grace by virtues or good behavior.
It is acknowledging were sinners who need the atonement of our Savior.
Its realizing that laws and religion do not have the power to save us.
Its knowing and loving Jesus and accepting the gift that He gave us.
It is believing that Jesus took our sins at the cross for our debt to be paid.
It is assurance we have eternal salvation because of the sacrifice He made.
Its asking for Gods forgiveness and to help us make a fresh start;
Asking Him to be with us always, and to fill us in mind and in heart.
It is having faith in Gods sovereignty for He knows whats best;
Thanking Him for all He has done and for how weve been blessed.
This is the message of the Gospel; Good News to those who will hear it.
And when we accept and follow Jesus we receive the help of the Holy Spirit.
Being a Christian transforms us within and in every part of life;
It gives us hope and joy along with comfort in sorrow and strife.
We know were not perfect but we want to please God and obey.
We continually ask God to mend us and to show us the way.
We understand this is an ongoing process; not just an event.
We strive to reflect Christs love for it is Him we represent.
We believe God loves everyone and has a purpose for us all.
We know He does not want any of us to be lost or to fall.
We seek to know, to serve and to love God more and more;
As we find understanding and meaning we did not know before.
If your faith isnt evident and doesnt mean this to you,
Carefully reconsider and assess, is your faith really true?
If you have any doubts, seek His wisdom and pray.
Invite Him into your life; ask Him to show you the way.
For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever
believes in Him shall not perish
but have Eternal Life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the
world, but to save the world
through Him. John 3:16-17

World says...WORD SAYS. By Adam Edelstein
Families live in a culture today with values that often oppose those that Jesus
taught.
Culture says,
"Value things."
Christ says, "Value people.
" Culture says, "Put yourself first."
Christ says, "Serve others.
" Culture says, "Never be satisfied with what you have; yearn for newer, bigger,
brighter."
Christ says, "The abundant life that I bring is peace, joy, and contentment.
" Culture says, "Hurry up, be busy, do, do, do."
Christ says, "Slow down, remember the Sabbath day, and keep it holy.
" Culture says, "Money and power and status are our gods; worship them."
Christ says, "God is God; worship God only.
" Culture says, "Now!"
Christ says, "Focus on the things that are eternal and I am with you always.
" Culture can be toxic for children and other living things with its emphasis on
acquisition,
materialism, and self-centered living.
Christ calls us into community - to love one another as we have been loved.
Whose doctrine will you follow???

Stop and Think by ADAM EDELSTEIN
* Should you find it hard to get to sleep tonight: just remember the homeless
family who has
no bed to lie in.
* Should you find yourself stuck in traffic: dont despair. There are people in this
world for
whom driving is an unheard of privilege.
* Should you have a bad day at work: think of the man who has been out of work
for the last
three months.
* Should you despair over a relationship gone bad: think of the person who has
never known
what its like to love and be loved in return.
* Should you grieve the passing of another weekend: think of the woman in dire
straits,
working twelve hours a day, seven days a week, for $15.00 to feed her family.
* Should your car break down, leaving you miles away from assistance think of
the paraplegic
who would love the opportunity to take that walk.
* Should you notice a new gray hair in the mirror: think of the cancer patient in
chemotherapy
who wishes she had hair to examine.
* Should you find yourself at a loss and pondering what is life all about, asking
what is my
purpose: be thankful. There are those who didnt live long enough to get the
opportunity.
* Should you find yourself the victim of other peoples bitterness, ignorance,
smallness or
insecurities: remember things could be worse. You could be them!!!

If you rely on your own strength mostly. Only partially
communicating with Jesus you may survive. You may think you
are thrivingyou will never reach the heights GOD planned for
you. Like the CROW you will exist on the stuff of the earth that
is left behind and forsaken. Eventually you will hate life and
only seek things of death.. You will not have eternal life with

What If By ADAM EDELSTEIN
What if God couldnt take the time to bless us today because we
couldnt take the time to thank Him yesterday?
What if God decided to stop leading us tomorrow because we didnt
follow Him today?
What if we never saw another flower bloom because we grumbled when
God sent the rain?
What if God didnt walk with us today because we failed to recognize it
as His day?
What if God took away his message because we failed to listen to the
messenger?
What if God didnt send His only begotten Son because He wanted us to
be prepared to pay the price for sin?
What if the door of the church was closed because we did not open the
door of our heart?
What if God stopped loving a caring for us because we failed to love and
care for others?
What if God would not hear us today because we would not listen to him
yesterday?
What if God answered our prayers the way we answer His call to
service?
What if God met our needs the way we give Him our lives?

My Wife, (Charmekia Edelstein)...A woman of Strength By ADAM
EDELSTEIN

A strong woman works out every day to keep her body in shape...
but a woman of strength kneels in prayer to keep her soul in shape...
A strong woman isn't afraid of anything...
but a woman of strength shows courage in the midst of her fear...
A strong woman won't let anyone get the best of her...
but a woman of strength gives the best of her to everyone...
A strong woman walks sure footedly...
but a woman of strength knows God will catch her if she falls...
A strong woman wears the look of confidence on her face...
but a woman of strength wears grace...
A strong woman has faith that she is strong enough for the journey...
but a woman of strength has faith that it is in the journey that she will
become
strong...

To MY MOM (MRS. RITA DUPCLAY) September 6th , 1921 October 12th, 2009
To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man."
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

Do the No Moreby CHARMEKIA EDELSTEIN

We have all heard the song, Do the Hustle, and if you are anything like me you
probably have the song running through your head right now. You may even be
visualizing the dance as you read this. You see the people moving forward and
moving back, and then pausing in the middle to do a little impromptu jig, and then
you see them spinning and moving from side to side, all to repeat it once again, as
they do the hustle. We know the hustle as a dance, but what does the word hustle
mean? Upon looking up the word I found the following definitions in the Merriam-
Webster dictionary:
1. To move or act energetically and rapidly
2. To push or force ones way.
3. To act aggressively, especially in business dealings.
None of these definitions are appealing, which is what brings me to the topic of
this article; Do the Hustle No More.
The hustle is what we find ourselves doing when we rely on ourselves and not on
God. When we rely on our own selves even in the smallest sense we will find
ourselves going back and repeating our old mistakes. However when we rely on
God we will always move forward. We will always prosper and we will always
succeed. Trust in God, and you will always move forward. Often times we find
ourselves doing the hustle as we go through life. We go forward and then back.
Then we move or shall I say spin from side to side as we struggle to break loose
from our rut or from our mess. The dance often becomes overwhelming and
stressful as we wobble and drown in our circumstances all because we are relying
on ourselves and not on God. In the Bible Proverbs 3:5 says Trust in the Lord
with all of your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. God tells us this
because He know that we are only able to see a glimmer of our lives, where as God
can see the entire scope of our existence (before we are born, while we are
here, and after we are gone). Satan wants us to keep on doing the hustle, he even
created a song to make it seem fun. We hear the tune, and we begin to nod our
heads (thinking apart from God), and then we start tapping our feet (walking in our
own path.) Before we know it we have hustled ourselves into a horrible situation,
and we find ourselves with no where to turn. So the next time you hear that feel
good song moving through you, take a moment and see if the little melody is one
of Satan as he tries to hustle you away from Gods will for your life. Or is the song
that you hear a sweet melody from heaven that God has put in your heart to praise
Him, bless others, and to move forward in our lives, and in the blessed kingdom of
God. Today ask yourself this question: Are you moving forward today, OR are you
hustling through life?

Amazing, acknowledge them.
Believable, trust them.
Child-like, allow them.
Divine, honor them.
Energetic, nourish them.
Fallible, embrace them.
Gifts, treasure them.
Here-now, be with them.
Innocent, delight with them.
Joyful, appreciate them.
Kind-hearted, learn from them.
Lovable, cherish them.
Magical, fly with them.
Noble, esteem them.
Open-minded, respect them.
Precious, value them.
Questioners, encourage them.
Resourceful, support them.
Spontaneous, enjoy them.
Talented, believe in them.
Unique, affirm them.
Vulnerable, protect them.
Whole, recognize them.
Xtra-special, celebrate them.
Yearning, notice them.
Zany, laugh with them.

How Can We Keep J esus in Our Lives?
By: Mayra Lorena Pena
There are many wonderful ways to praise our
heavenly father. We can sing, we can dance, we can draw,
and we can write to him. Between all of these we can
express our love to God.
I've been teaching for four years, and I've been
working at a Christian school for 1 year, and I love it.
Teaching children about God has been very rewarding. I
think it's important to start talking to children about God
at a young age, this way they start loving and growing a
relationship with Him. Everyday my class and I read the
Ten Commandments and God's promises for kids. I know
that repetition helps them to memorize these key rules and
promises, but we go back to each one and talk about the
true meaning, and how important it is to follow them.
I would like the children to learn the word of God
everyday. It is important for children to understand that God
is number one in our lives, because he is Jesus, Giver of
Life. Having Jesus in our lives is very important; he gives us
the strength to do anything we set our mind to.
In addition to teaching, art has also been my
passion for a very long time. I combine the two by
incorporating art into my lesson plans. I believe my way of
expressing the love I have for God is through my art. God
gave me the gift of art to share, and I know that sharing
this gift with children is wonderful. So please allow Jesus
in your life, he wants to be a part of it. Remember that we
are all a family, and God wants us to live in peace.

"Use every piece of God's armour to resist the enemy in the time of
evil, so that after the battle you will still be standing firm. Stand your
ground, putting on the sturdy belt of truth and the body armour of
God's righteousness. For shoes, put on the peace that comes from
the Good News, so that you will be fully prepared. In every battle you
will need faith as your shield to stop the fiery arrows aimed at you by
Satan. Put on salvation as your helmet, and take the sword of the
Spirit, which is the Word of God. Pray at all times and on every
occasion in the power of the Holy Spirit. Stay alert and be persistent
in your prayers for all Christians everywhere."
