Course Title: Community Health Nursing
Concept: Syllabus on the Expanded Program on Immunization
Topic Description: This topic deals with the concept and importance of vaccination, routine immunization schedule, and role of the nurse on the delivery and
administration of different vaccines to combat target diseases..
Central Objective: At the end of the discussion, the learners shall gain understanding on the concept and importance of vaccination, manifest mastery toward the
topic, value the effectiveness of the EPI target diseases and develop skills toward the administration of the different vaccines.
Time Allotted: 30 minutes
Placement: SUMMER
PURPOSE: To provide learners with complete information about the Expanded Program on Immunization
