Football is the most popular sport around the world and the greatest obsession, too.
Thats because ignite pride and passion in everyone. Well, but it doesnt in the
americans and that is the matter. The exhibition of art Ftbol: The beautiful Game at
Los Angeles County Museum of Art is going to show all that you need to know
to really appreciate this wonderful game. The greatness of players like Pel or
Zidane whose feats became them in really celebrities and legends. The
elegance and lethality of athletes like them ( whatever they are forward, midfield
or goalkeeper ) makes beautiful this game. Football teach us about fair play
and in that way is like a metaphor of life and can show us about morality and
obligations. But, like in the real life, its not always fair. Sometimes, strategy
includes look for a rivals mistake and the respective penalty. So the work of 30
artist from around the world including silkscreen portraits, video installations,
acrylic paintings and films will express the mythic battles between those
heroes. And maybe help americans to really enjoy this football world cup in
Brazil.

Actually, I agree to this article. If you havent ever seen Pel, Zidane or Cubillass
plays you cant really appreciate todays football. Even less you wont understand
historical and amazing events, you just will be able to do when those had already
happened, and there is not emotion. Know about historical rivalries, matches and
scores ads a new flavors to every match especially in the world cup. For example this
world cup whose ends yesterday actually had been really impressive. There were to
much surprises (for some bad and for some good): The worst score and humiliation of
Brazil in its whole history (as well of any host, too), Germany becomes in the first
Europes country who wins world cup in American continent, they also have the player
with more goals in this tournament, Miroslav Klose annotated his 16 th gol in the
historic win above Brazil 7-1. Also, performances like Suarez and his habit to beat
other players its a clear example to fair play its not always in players mind. And in the
other hand are players like Arjen Robben who always its marked, but he looks for
shoots and penalties because he knows that the referee cant see every hit he
receives. Also there are players like James Rodrigues who just by unlucky dont win
the cup. Finally, we can see passion in teams like Costa Rica, a team in with no one
believed but they got terrific results winning to great teams.
