And to their adviser) - ;ho offered his time in %olishing and im%roving this study- A-A-, P-/-"-P "-2-0 M-$-3-0 A-I-$-R 2-M-R C-M--R M-4--R A-M-A-$-" 4-M-M-" C-/-"-" /-T-T vii ASTRACT OF THE STUD* The study ;ill 1e focusing on Teaching "trategies# A eterminant of "tudent Nurses8 "atisfaction to Effective 2earning- There ;as a total of &A' res%ondents of ;hich ;ere randomly chosen over 55 sections of 2evel III B Institute of Nursing- 0uestionnaires ;as the chief instrument to 1e utili@ed in the study in order to gather data- The 2i=ert8s "cale) ;hich ;as also used as an instrument is an ordered) oneCdimensional scale from ;hich res%ondents choose one o%tion that 1est aligns ;ith their vie;- A common form is an assertion) ;ith ;hich the %erson may agree or disagree to varying degrees- In scoring) num1ers are usually assigned to each o%tion Dsuch as & to EF- "tatistical treatment of data %articularly the GCtest for inde%endence ;as used to identify the overall %erce%tion of the Far Eastern University B Institute of Nursing 1ase on the data that ;ill 1e gathered- The findings indicated that ma.ority of res%ondents ;ere females ;ith a %ercentage of (AH and the rest ;ere males ;ith a %ercentage of *5H- The highest num1er of res%ondents came from &I and a1ove age grou%) com%rising a %ercentage of ((H- The lo;est num1er of res%ondents came from &A years and 1elo; age- !ased on the data gathered) all res%ondents claimed that they are satisfied in all the teaching strategies that ;ere 1eing used 1y the faculty mem1ers- The highest level of satisfaction ;as from emonstration Method ;ith a total of '-E& as its ;eighted mean ;hile the least came from 2ecture iscussion ;ith a total of *-I5 as its ;eighted mean- The level of satisfaction of the students and the teaching strategies of the lecturers coCrelates ;herein there ;ould 1e 1etter teaching strategies a%%lied in the classroom to %romote learning- viii "ince a significant finding revealed that FEU * rd year nursing students satisfied to creativeCinteracting learning) lecture discussion) role %lay) demonstration method) and coo%erative learning and 1rain storming as teaching strategies are suggested acts that can 1e included in the core curriculum of nursing education- ix
