Italy is famous for its architecture, history, culture, and food. It has many historically and artistically significant cities like Venice, Rome, Florence, and Milan that contain architectural and artistic wonders that earned UNESCO World Heritage Site status. Two of its most famous landmarks are the Roman Coliseum in Rome, built in the 1st century AD to host gladiator fights and public shows, and La Fenice opera house in Venice, nicknamed "The Phoenix" for surviving multiple fires throughout history. Italy is also renowned for its fashion industry, especially in Milan, and its cuisine like pasta, pizza, and wine.

THE WONDERFUL ITALY

Italy is a country located in Europe, that country is famous for its architecture, history,
romantic places, and gastronomy. Each one of these aspects have been influenced by its
history since in Italy was born one of more important civilizations in the world The
Roman Empire, not only Italy, all world was influenced for that civilization principally in
aspects like politics and arts.

Italy has forty nine places that are declared
patrimony of humanity by Unesco like artistic cities
as Venice, Milan, Rome, Florence, Naples etc. Lets
talk about the most romantic city, Venice is
beautiful its nickname is La Serenissima, in that
famous place you can take a vaporetto or a gondola
(its a kind of boat) to get a tour around the city,
know its
history and
you can see its beautiful architecture like the most
famous opera coliseum its name is La Fenice its
meaning is phoenix because that coliseum suffered
some fires and survived. The other place to visit, is
the most important architectural patrimony from The
Roman Empire has been the Roman Coliseum, that
coliseum was built in the century I, located in the
Roma Downtown. This construction was declared
humanity patrimony in 1980 and one the Seven Wonders
of the World in 2007 by Unesco. In the past, the
coliseum was used by gladiators for their fights and
public shows. Although, currently the coliseum is
damaged because of the different earthquakes, even if,
the arena is an important icon from The Roman Empire
and the beginning of the Catholic Church. If you dont
like history maybe you love the fashion, you should visit
the Italian fashion capital Milan, that city has history and its very attractive to the fashion
lovers, they can find the best designers and wonderful shops to visit and to see the excellent
architecture and history.

On the other hand, you can enjoy Italias
gastronomy principally pastas like lasagnas,
macaroni and ravioli with different salsas and
together with rice the most famous is the risotto
and cheeses as mozzarella, parmigiano reggiano y
el granna padano. Obviously, you dont forget to
try the pizzas and panzerotti because these foods
are one the most famous foods in the world and you
can share together someone these foods with a good wine.

Finally, you need to know that Italy is place from the
second most important competition in the world the
Giro d Italy, in this competition the participants go
over Italy around three weeks in May. In the last
version the winner was a Colombian his name is
Nairo Quintana and the runner up was Colombian too
Rigoberto Urn.

In conclusion Italy has different things to make from knowing history to going shopping in
one of the fashion capitals in the world and eat the best pizza and see a Colombian win in
The Giro d'Italia, all in one country.
