Content Analysis
Daisys Song is a beautiful poem written by John Keats, expresses his feelings and mood of emotions. The poem helps to develop creativity in
learners mind to attempt a poem.

Informal Interaction
The teacher engages in an informal talk with the students so as to create a good rapport with them.

Students actively interacted with teacher.
Entry Activity
Teacher shows the picture of a flower and asks the student to identify
the picture and teacher asks certain questions like;


How many types of flower do you know?
Which flower do you like most?


Students observed the picture carefully and
they identified the picture and answered
well to the questions asked by the teacher.
Link Talk
Teacher now leads them to the poem by asking questions like,
I. What are the sounds do you hear in nature?
II. Is there any garden in your house?
III. What are the factors influencing the beauty of nature?

Then the teacher introduces the poem Daisys Song to the students.
The title of the poem and the name of the writer is written on the
black board.

John Keats (1795 1821) is one of the greatest Romantic
poets of English Literature. He wrote a series of odes that were
his master pieces and they still remain the most popular poems
in English literature.

The teacher recites the poem two or three times aloud with correct pronunciation,
rhythm feeling and in musicality
Students listened to the reading by the
teacher with much attention.

Teacher ask the learners to track their reading by marking

Randomly students are selected from each group and they are asked to present the
answers for the scaffolding questions.

The selected students answered properly.
Language activity I
Teacher shows the picture of nature and asked the students to write a
short note about the nature.
