OFFENSE

- LARRY DONNELL, TE, NY Giants - (3rd year, GRAMBLING


STATE) - Seven receptions for 54 yards including three TD recep-
tions of 5, 6 and 6 yards in win over Washington. Donnell was the
early leader this week in the NFL with 25 receptions and is tied for
second in the league with four TD catches. He has accounted for
244 yards in receptions.
DEFENSE
- ANTOINE BETHEA, S, San Francisco (9th year, HOWARD) - Led
49ers with seven solo tackles, one tackle forced a key fumble recov-
ered by his team, and also had a key interception in win over Phila-
delphia. They were frst forced fumble and interception of the sea-
son for the nine-year veteran.
- JUSTIN DURANT, LB, Dallas (9th year, HAMPTON) - Three solo
tackles, fve assists, one interception and one forced fumble in Sun-
day night win over New Orleans. They were frst forced fumble and
interception of the season for the nine-year veteran.
