Description of the class: The students are loud and very eager to talk.

RECENT WORK: Wild and domestic animals.
OBJECTIVES: -To reinforce vocabulary related to animals.
-To express preference.
-To talk about their pets.
-To express likes and dislikes.
Aids: Flashcards and worksheets.
SKILLS: All.
Language: All and any.

CONTENTS:

Warm up activity: Oral activity.
Objective: To reinforce vocabulary related to animals.
Estimated time: 10 minutes.
Procedure: The students will identify the domestic animals from the worksheet
they get. They will have to name them and say which of them can be kept as
pets.
Activity/class organization: T-S, S-T interaction.
Aids: Worksheets, teacher`s flashcard.
Language: All and any.
Possible problems: None.

Activity 1: Oral activity
Objective: To match the images with their definitions.
Estimated time: 15 minutes.
Activity/class organization: S-S, S-T interaction/ group activity and solo work.
Procedure: The students will be given a worksheet with images representing
animals and their names. They will have to match the images with their
definitions.
After match the image, they have to write them in their notebooks and also
express their preference related to them.
Vocabulary engaged: Animals.
Aids: Students worksheets, students` notebooks.
Language: All and any.
Possible problems: None.

Activity 2: Oral activity.
Objective: To describe animals.
Estimated time: 15 minutes.
Activity/class organization: S-S, S-T interaction/ group activity.
Procedure: The students will be shown flashcards representing the animals.
They have to describe them using the vocabulary related to colour, size and say
if it is a domestic animal or a wild one..
The teacher will write on the blackboard some possible answers.
Vocabulary engaged: Colours. Words related to size. Animals.
Aids: Students notebooks and teacher`s flashcards.
Language: All and any.
Possible problems: None.

Activity 3: Oral activity.
Objective: To express likes and dislikes.
Estimated time: 10 minutes.
Activity/class organization: S-S, S-T interaction/ group activity and solo work.
Procedure: The students will work with a copy of the poster representing the
animals and try to express likes and dislikes.
The teacher will write on the blackboard some possible answers.
Vocabulary engaged: Seasons. Weather.
Structures engaged: I like it./ I don`t like it.
Aids: Students worksheets, poster.
Language: All and any.
Possible problems: None.

Homework: Make a drawing representing your pet.
