The brain, brainwaves and brainwave entrainment
Before going any further it is important to take just a few words to talk about the brain, brain
waves, and what happens when the brain is exposed to brain wave entrainment
Your brain is comprised of approximately 100 BILLION neurons. A neuron is a specialized cell
that transmits information via electrical chemical impulses that travel from one neuron to another
via neural synapses (pathways between the neurons).
Depending on the messages being transmitted, these impulses move from neuron to neuron in a
regular pattern (a brain wave) that can be measured using specialized equipment called an EEG.
Scientists have been able to use the EEG to distinguish 5 distinct brain waves that equate to 5
different mental states that can be generally described as...
Gamma: 30-60 Hz: Associated with compassion, empathy, decision making under
stress, and higher brain functioning and processes. Gamma Frequencies are found
naturally in higher amounts in long time meditators. It is thought to improve clarity of
thought and believed to improve intuition.
Beta: 13-30 Hz: Wide awake state and associated with sensory motor awareness.
Focused and alert, analytical thinking, learning new information quickly. Usually

associated with peak mental and physical performance, but is also associated with stress
and anxiety.
Alpha: 8-13 Hz: Associated with lighter meditative states and super learning. It is a
relaxed yet alert state of mind ideal for positive thinking and creative problem solving. It
is used to elevate mood, reduce stress, enhance creativity and is believed to bridge the
conscious and unconscious mind.
Theta: 4-8 Hz: This is the dream state and is ideal for creative inspirations, enhanced
visualization, deep meditation, deep relaxation, inner peace and a general sense of well-
being. Key state involved in energy healing work. Believed to increase inner wisdom,
enhance intuition, and reduce stress.
Delta: 0.6-4 Hz: This is deep sleep with no dreaming. It is associated with physical
healing and recuperation, healing of the limbic system and may positively influence
symptoms of PTSD. Believed to help with inner growth and wisdom, deep healing, and
recovery from trauma.
At any given time a person's overall brain wave pattern is a combination of the alpha, beta, theta,
delta, and gamma brain waves and each of these patterns, in general, equates to different mental,
emotional, even spiritual states.
Brainwave Entrainment technology has been designed to entrain your brain into specific brain
wave patterns, hence enabling you to move into a desired mental/emotional state.
Brainwave Entrainment is based upon the discovery by a Dutch scientist named Christian
Huygens in 1665. Huygens observed that when a number of clocks were put in a room, the
pendulums would eventually all synchronize with one another's rhythm, no matter how
intentionally off rhythm they were started. He called this tendency to synchronize - entrainment.
This natural entrainment was so precise that even alignment with the most advanced machines
could not get them synchronized as well.
The human brain also follows the same kind of entrainment response, responding to rhythmic
outside stimuli (for example drumming), shifting brainwaves until they moves into
synchronization.
Brainwave Entrainment technologies capitalize on this Frequency Following Response (FFR) to
help guide the listener into a more desirable state. A number of different methods are used,
including...
Binaural Beats: Binaural beats are two frequencies played at the same time to produce a
third frequency that is used to entrain brainwaves. For instance, a 340 Hz sound played in
one ear and a 350 Hz in the other would produce a 10 Hz wave which, in turn, entrains
the wakeful relaxing brainwaves mentioned above. This effect is produced in the brain.
Monaural Beats: Monaural beats are similar to Binaural Beats in that 2 tones are used to
create the entrainment beat. The primary difference is that the 2 tones are combined in
each of the left and right channels of the stereo field. Because Monaural Beats are not

produced in the brain but rather in the sound itself, they can be heard without
headphones.
Isochronic Tones: Isochronic tones utilize equal intensity tones, varying pulse speed,
and work by synchronizing the brain waves to the rhythm. It's a fine art to create
Isochronic tones that are both pleasant and effective but when done well they are proving
to be a very powerful entrainment tool.
Proprietary Technologies: Research into new more effective brain wave entrainment
methods continues and we are at the forefront. Our Super Mind Music uses special
combinations of the above technologies in addition to other proprietary methods that all
aim to give the listener an ever more enjoyable, powerful experience.
Another benefit to regular brainwave entrainment listening not mentioned above is that in order
to enable the entrainment to take place, new neural connections (synapses) are formed between
the neurons. These synapses enable many new pathways for information to travel, which in turn
increases both the flexibility, creativity, and information holding capabilities of the brain.
In other words, listening to brainwave entrainment, just by its nature, makes you smarter.
Which is very handy when our goal is to upgrade our Minds
Develop the brain of the most successful people in the world
The brain contains 2 halves known as hemispheres. The left brain controls the right side of the
body and vice versa. The left brain is the source of logic and rational thought. It remembers
detail and measures time. We use it to talk and read. The right brain is the source of free
thinking, intuition, creativity, inspiration, emotion and music.
Our current education system has been designed to create a right handed society that is
dominated by our left brain. A society dominated by the left brain is more easily controlled.
With brainwave entrainment, when you play one pulse in one ear, and a different one in the other
ear, the left and the right side of your brain have to work together to hear the 3
rd
signal. For
example as we just said, a 340 Hz sound played in one ear and a 350 Hz in the other would
produce a frequency of 10 Hz
The more you use brainwave entrainment, the more you have both halves of your brain working
together, known as whole brain functioning, and the long term benefits of this are amazing...

The audios that make up Part 1 of The Mind Body Spirit Music System are designed to assist you
in clearing your limiting beliefs, setting very specific intentions, creating a space to enable you to
visualize yourself into the life of your Dreams, and even helping you to accelerate the
manifestation of your dreams.
Lush Life: Ambient Chill and Dream Trip
We expect that if you have been on this self-improvement journey for any length of time you
have been exposed to the idea that we create our reality from our beliefs. If we want to upgrade
our lives, it is critical to unearth and release the beliefs that have been limiting us.
Lush Life 1 and 2 (Both designed to do the same thing) have been created to help release these
limiting beliefs.

(Quick note: Just about every audio in this system was created to be able to listen to while doing
other things so that you can get the benefit while still getting on with your day to day to do list.
These audios are an exception. Please only listen when you can dedicate yourself to the
following process, or something similar)
The brain wave entrainment in these audios has been created to open the mind to take whats
hidden and bring it to light.
These audios are not meditation audios. Do not attempt to quiet your mind while listening to the
first half of these audios. You will fail.
These audios are designed to stir things up and help uncover what has been secretly keeping you
from your dreams, and to help you clear away the clutter to help you find your focus.
The Brain Wave Entrainment on both audios is exactly the same, it is just the music that is
different. Different people have different tastes and we didnt want anyone to not take advantage
of this technology because they didnt like the music.
* If you love the audio the first time you listen fabulous
* If you hate it within moments of listening terrific
* If you feel kind of numb or neutral, listen again and again. The numbness will pass
Recommendations for Optimum Use
DO NOT
Attempt quiet meditation practices at least not during the first 20 minutes of the audio.
At the same time peaceful yoga or Tai Chi or any other exercise that works to quiet the
mind is not recommended. These practices are out of sync with the purpose of the audio
and may create agitation and/or frustration.
Watch TV or Read a Book or Emails these audios will make you more susceptible to
outside influences. You want to uncover what you are holding inside not add to it.
Drive, operate heavy machinery, or do anything that may cause harm (save chopping the
vegetables until after you finish the audio)
Give up if you hate it the first time you listen. You deserve to live your Highest and Best
Life and this program will help you get there.
DO.
Set a FOCUS before you begin. Decide before each session what you wish to work on and then
write it down or speak it out loud. What is it you want more of? What do you want to create?
Where can you use more clarity?

What do I need to understand to allow more financial abundance in my life?
What am I hiding from myself that if I understood it clearly, would allow me to
manifest my Dream Relationship?
In what ways can I bring total healing to (fill in with physical, emotional, financial
issue)
How can life get even better than this?
What do I need to understand to manifest my perfect vacation?
Once you have your focus you now have two choices on how to proceed either through
movement or through the written word.
MOVE
If you want to move then put your
headphones on, turn on the Lush Life
audio and walk, or jog, or dance or row
a boat. And while you are moving let
yourself talk to yourself, either in your
head, or if you dare out-loud.
Talk about whatever comes up but keep
the talking and moving going for at least
20 minutes. Dont try to fix or solve
anything. Just allow yourself to give
voice to everything that comes into your
head.
You will be surprised by what comes up if you let it
After about 20 minutes the brain wave entrainment is designed to allow for quiet. It is here where
you can slow things down to get still to allow for more listening and less/no talking. Dont
expect immediate answers just be open and curious for whatever happens.
WRITE
My favorite way to use these audios is with pen and paper and the powerful process of
questioning.

To begin the process put in your headphones, turn on the Lush Life album, and take a deep breath
and then
Spend 1-3 minutes (no more) getting the gunk up and out onto the paper. State the worry, the
problem and the negative emotions you have surrounding it. Let it all out using as strong a
language as you dare. Dont hide any of it from yourself. Dont pretend its ok when its not.
Whine, scream, complain. For instance.
I *** dont know how to pay these credit card bills. They are overdue and I see no solution in
sight. Every time I pass the pile on the counter my stomach clenches and I feel like I am about to
scream. I cant believe I let it get so bad and every time I try and figure out what to do my brain
gets foggy and I just want to cry.
1-3 minutes is all it takes to get it out. After that the magic begins
Pretend that every question you are about to ask will be answered by a loving all powerful
presence that has the power to move mountains, and will at your request. Imagine that this
presence will provide the answers to the questions you ask, but only the questions you ask
So you want those questions to be focused quite specifically on the successful completion of
your goal. Asking questions about the why the problem exists will not solve the problem, it will
simply make the problem more important.
The following are examples of questions that will not bring you closer to a solution.
Why was I so stupid to get myself into this mess?
Why did I let this happen to me?
Why are the Credit Card companies so mean?
How long will it take before I really go crazy?
Will they take me away and put me in a padded cell if I start to scream and dont stop?
Do you really need the answer to any of those questions? What purpose will it serve? Will it get
those credit card bills paid off?
Now how about some questions worth answering such as
What steps can I take to get these bills paid in full?
What one step can I take now to get my finances in order?
Who can I call that may be willing to help?
In what ways can I allow more abundance into my life?
How can I become more aware of the miracles in my life now?
What have I been hiding from myself, that if I allowed myself to see it, would enable me
to receive the abundance I crave?
What steps can I take to feel more abundant now?
Am I safe now?

In what ways will the Universe positively surprise me today?
Where can I save some money each month that can be used toward the bills?
What will I do with a positive cash flow?
What bold step can I take right now that will bring more cash into my life?
How can I bring more ease into my life? More fun? More love?
Continue to write these questions for about 20 minutes. Do not attempt to come up with answers
(though if they show up write them down) Just ask the questions and allow yourself to relax and
have fun with it.
And then get quiet. Put the pen down, close your eyes and just relax. Do not attempt to force
anything. If thoughts come pay attention but do not expect anything. Just get soft and curious
and allow. And then go about your day.
Do not give up on the process. Even when it appears like nothing is happening keep going back
to it do it a minimum of 21 times before you decide it does or does not work for you.
The more you invest in this one process, the more you will clear your mind of the limiting
thoughts and beliefs that have kept you small and the more successful you will find your
visualizations to be.
Elemental Dreams: Celtic Reiki
Elemental Dreams: Celtic Reiki, one of the newest Super Mind Music Albums has been
specifically created to help you manifest using the 4 elements. There are 4 tracks:
*Reiki Fire stimulates the left and right brain separately. It was designed to stimulate the
creative side of your brain to transform limiting beliefs and then bring the transformations up to
the conscious level.
To enhance the effect of Reiki Fire imagine that you are standing within a flame of
transformation and allow it to move through and cleanse every cell in your body. You do not
need to know what is being cleared, just trust and relax into the process.
Each time you work with Reiki Fire you will become lighter, more open, and more capable of

*Reiki Earth will help you ground, balance and center. This audio provides 12 Hz, which is the

To enhance the effects of this audio imagine you have roots coming from your tailbone and the
bottom of your feet. Picture the roots moving deep into the earth, spreading out as far as you can
imagine. Then imagine with each in-breath you are breathing in the energy of the earth. Allow
yourself to feel the strength and support the earth is providing.
Then with each out breath let go of anything that is troubling you. Allow the earth to take any
chaotic energy held in your space.
As you continue to breathe in and out in this manner you will begin to feel more and more
rooted, balanced and centered.
*Reiki Water stimulates both alpha and beta waves simultaneously, allowing for mood elevation,
enhanced visualization and enhanced analytical thinking, motivation and goal achievement.
While listening to this audio you can spend some time visualizing all that you desire flowing to
you with ease. You will also find it easier to create effective vision plans and action plans. The
key with this audio is flow and motion, the visualization of your desired outcome coming to you,
the taking of action steps required to make it happen.
*Reiki Air stimulates intuition and creativity and links both to higher brain function allowing one
to bring thought to form.
A great visualization to use while listening to Reiki Air is to breathe the air in through the top of
your head, picture it moving through your body, and then breathe it out through your feet into the
earth.
Each of these audios are16 minutes long and beautiful to listen to. When combined, they work to
open, cleanse, and balance your system in a way that will enable you to manifest with ease.
You can listen to them one after another, but I recommend that instead you work with each
separately, focusing on whichever audios you feel most drawn to.
Release the Gunk: Cool Funk and Hot Funk
Release the Gunk is another audio set specifically designed to clear your mind of the negativity
that had in the past held you back.
We believe this may be one of the most powerful audios we have ever produced and when used
with the right intention, it may be one of the most transformational.
This audio is designed to take the sting out of past memories even the most traumatic ones.
This audio can also help you dissociate your future fears of anticipated events.

Amazing right? Just imagine the possibilities
and it comes in two different mixes - one an upbeat funk and the other laid back.
Ok So now for the instructions on how to use the audio
The Process:
1) If you are experiencing a general state of unease or discomfort or fear then all you
want to do is listen to the audio all the way through from beginning to end. The audio contains
a series of dissociation patterns that can help you pull that unease right out of your space. It is
also designed to lead you into a very organized state of high beta towards the end of the audio
which is where you can start generating some feel good neurochemicals which is a very good
thing
If your normal state is generally one of unease then regular use of this audio will help you move
into a new more positive, happy normal state.
Cool, right?
2) If you are dealing with past memories that are interfering with your peace of mind then
you want to bring those memories, one at a time, with you when you listen to either of the audios
(did I mention that this product is two audios, each with the same brain wave entrainment, but
with different music, so you get to pick and choose depending upon mood or preference).
Allow yourself to keep replaying the memory as many times as you like as you listen (always
with headphones) to Release the Gunk. The brain wave entrainment will be continually working
to dissociate the emotions from the memory, and as it does you may find that you begin to get
bored with replaying that memory over and over again and thats when the fun begins.
Because that is when you start to play with the memory, and there are quite a few ways you can
do it, you can.
1. Play the memory backwards in your mind just rewind it
2. You can pull the color right out of it just turn it all gray and then begin to lighten the
gray
3. If the memory is of a conversation you can change the speaking voice(s) to something
fun or silly or hard to take serious (Donald Duck anyone?)
4. You can shrink the main villains in the memory shrink them right down until they fit
into the palm of your hand

Essentially play with the memory in whatever ways feel good because these mind games will
be working with the dissociative properties of the audio to completely take the sting out of the
memory.
When you have had enough of the memory (hmmmm, is it possible it just doesnt feel that
important anymore?) then just kick back and enjoy the remaining minutes of the recording.
We recommend processing just one memory per listening and giving yourself some time
before working on another one. Its important to give your mind some processing time, which
will extend past the length of the audio. (How long depends upon the intensity of the memory,
and the individual, but a few hours is a good rule of thumb.)
It is possible that one session is all it will take to completely take the sting out of even your most
troubling memory, but it is just as likely several sessions may be required. If thats the case then
I expect you will notice that each session will get easier and it wont be long before you begin
asking yourself what the big deal was
3) If its future fears that keep you up all night then those are the ones you take with you into
the session.
Fear speaking in public? Not for long. Just put the headphones on, begin the recording, and start
to imagine a future public speaking event.
For as long as you want play out the worst
case scenarios in your mind from as many
different angles as you can imagine. See
yourself fumbling for the words. Listen as
people put you down. Even see yourself faint
right there in front of all those people.
Whatever your fears, play them out in your
mind, over and over and over. For as long as
you find it interesting to do.
And then start playing with script in the same
ways recommended for past memories. Play
the story backwards, pull the color out of it,
make the audience very small, or turn them all
into cute kittens.
and then
Begin to imagine some better scenarios. Put yourself back in front of a huge audience only this
time see yourself as confident, capable, entertaining and informative. See the audience paying
attention and nodding in agreement. Allow yourself to imagine what it will feel like to know you
are doing a phenomenal job, and loving it.

Can it get any better than this?
Yes
Because there is a little bit more to these audios than just some dissociation patterns and a feel
good ending.
During much of this audio you will be entrained into a low Theta, almost a Delta brain wave
state, which is not only a great place to be for letting negativity go. It is also a space associated
with strong intuition and a wonderful space to hang in, especially when you are looking for those
out of the box ideas that can catapult you out of the Gunk and into someplace much more
enjoyable.

Ok, now that the hard part is over and you have a clear space these next audios can

Some General Guidelines When Listening to the Super Mind Music Audios
There is no one right way to listen to the Super Mind Music audios but we do have some general
guidelines to help you get the most out of your experience:

1) Use headphones unless otherwise specifically stated. Most of our audios are created with
different sounds coming from the left and right channel, and it is how the brain processes this
different information that creates the BWE effect.
You can absolutely listen to the Super Mind Music Albums while doing other things, but please
don't do anything that could create injury (no operating heavy equipment or chopping vegetables
please). Whether you realize it or not the audios move you into an altered state of consciousness.
2) With each of the audios there is a short term and a long term effect. In the short term (while
listening and immediately after) you can expect to receive some level of the benefits described
for the individual audio and you can also expect those benefits to increase with repeat listening.
Maximum benefits are achieved after listening daily for approximately 30 days. This is how long
it is estimated to take for the new neural synapses to take root and the new way of thinking to
become somewhat habitualized.
Continued listening after the 30 days is encouraged as often as you like, not only because the
music is so beautiful to listen to, but also because continued listening will strengthen and further
increase the permanence of the audios effect.
3) You can absolutely listen to more than one audio a day and we highly recommend that you

4) If you can only listen to a portion of a specific audio please always start at the beginning. The

Now that you have your goal statement it is time to play with it by writing it down over and
over and over again. But dont just write it down, make it your own. For the duration of the
audios in Shortcuts to Success (and every day for at least 21 days) get out your markers and

colored pencil and have that goal statement come alive on the paper. Doodle it, write it out with
block letter or in script. Use different colors for different words, or change the color with each

taking a feel good drug without any side effects. It sometimes takes a few minutes to

is that you can pick and choose which audios and processes you want to work with first and save

It's difficult to work towards your dreams when you're feeling stressed... Maybe you're worried
about your job or money, or the problems of the world stress you out too often?
Stress isn't just a state of mind. It can also seriously harm the body. According to the research of
Dr Bruce Lipton, 95% of all illnesses are related to stress.
Stress activates the sympathetic nervous system and turns up the activity in the adrenal glands. It
tells the body that danger is lurking and the body responds by pulling resources from day to day
activities (like digestion) and moves them to the areas that are needed in life and death situations

When the body is in a chronic stress state internal organs are not getting the blood and oxygen

dont breath effectively we cannot eliminate the waste which then finds different places in our
bodies to hang out, creating all sorts of physical issues including excess weight and fatigue from
having to find ways to handle all the extra unburned fuel.
We are not breath experts (at least not yet, though it is becoming a new passion) but we have
found the following exercise to be simple and quite profound
Commit at least 15 minutes. No matter what your mind tells you about needing to
move or that you are wasting your time make the commitment to be with this
breath for at least 15 minutes.
Put on Blissful Meditation or Soothe Your Soul, put on your headphones and lie
down. I recommend the floor as opposed to the bed. This exercise requires you
to remain relaxed and aware and the bed often signals the body it is time to sleep.
Use a pillow and cover yourself with a blanket. As the body relaxes and blood
pressure drops you may find that the body begins to feel a bit colder. The blanket
provides the extra warmth.
Close your eyes and watch your breath moving slowly into a state that is known
as the continuous breath. Eliminate all space between the in breath and the out
breath. Dont attempt to control the speed, no need to count or control. Just
eliminate the pause.

As much as you can let go of all control of the out breath, just let it go.
Breathe in and out through your nose, or if that is not possible, breath in and out
through the mouth. Whichever you choose, make it the same for the in and the
out.
Relax and remain aware.
As you move deeper into this practice the breath will begin to naturally flow where it is most
needed and you may discover that you are experiencing some interesting physical and/or
emotional effects. You are bringing much needed oxygen to areas of your body that had been
starved for a long time, and as the oxygen flows tension and what was stuck underneath will
begin to release. Just keep reminding yourself that you are breathing and all is well and stay
committed to the 15 minutes or more (commit to one complete listen of the audio of your
choice).
I have made this breath part of my daily routine and have been staggered by the effect. Not only
am I more relaxed, I have become more flexible and have even lost weight (can you imagine a
weight loss program that requires nothing but learning how to breath).
By the way, there is a ton of phenomenal resources out there about the breath and I hope many of
you decide to do your own research and learn much more about the wonders of the breath. A
good place to start (and not just for those looking to lose weight) is Pam Grouts Jumpstart Your
Metabolism: How to Lose Weight by Changing the Way You Breath. She has a very easy to
read style, lots of valuable information, and many types of breathing exercises for you to
experiment with.

On Oprah.com I learned that Dr Rapaport, chairman of the department of psychiatry and
behavioral neurosciences at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, conducted a study
looking at two types of touch treatments.
He discovered, through blood tests, that Swedish Massage decreases stress hormones and
increases white blood cells, indicative of a healthier immune system. He also discovered that
those who received a light touch treatment had higher levels of the hormone oxytocin which just
feels good and promotes bonding.
Other studies have shown that just sitting in close contact with a partner for 10 minutes lowers
blood pressure in woman and that physical contact can trigger a boost in serotonin, a natural anti-
depressant.

Any notebook of any quality will do as long as there is paper to write on and a pen or pencil,

Before beginning to write in your gratitude journal take a few moments to close your eyes and
breathe into your heart center. Just allow yourself to sink into your heart and feel grateful for
each breath (without them you wouldnt be here )
When you are ready, open your eyes and begin to list the things you are grateful for today.
Cant think of anything? Really?
A number of years ago I checked a Louise Hay meditation audio out at the library and I will
never forget the morning gratitude meditation that was on it.
Louise reminded me to be thankful for my warm bed, the electric lights, the hot and cold running
water. And then when she commented that 100 years ago the Queen of England didnt have a
flush toilet I was immediately transported to that space where I knew just how blessed my life is.
I have a flush toilet, do you? There is a box in my home that keeps my food cold and a roof that
keeps the rain from my head. I have ten fingers and ten toes and they all work.

As I sit here, typing on a computer that I am very grateful for, I can hear bird song out my
window. My eyes work, as do my ears and I still have teeth that allow me to eat the meal that I
will nourish myself with in a few minutes.
This morning I had a wonderful conversation with a friend, and earlier I was able to take a walk
with my daughter and her friend and we all had a great time
Perhaps thats more than you wanted to hear about my life, but once I start counting all that I am
grateful for it begins to snowball, and the more I list the better I feel, and the better I feel the
more I list and
This activity alone will release feel good chemicals into your system and what can be better than
that?
Unwind Your Mind: Ambient J ourney
Unwind Your Mind is a beautiful 29 minute long mix that has wonderful energy and speed. The

there is nothing else to write.
And then
You throw the paper away. If you want you can burn it or shred it or bury it, but dont make any
drawn out kind of ceremony out of it. Essentially all you have done was take the garbage

thoughts that were sitting between you and your sense of peace and connection and you gave
them a place to go.
You un-trapped them from your head.
Now, please be aware that I am not saying you do this once and you will never be plagued by the
monkey mind again. Those surface repeating thoughts have been around, for most of us, much
of our lives, and they are habitual, and they can be triggered by outside events.
What I am saying is that the Mind Dump removes them in the moment, and will, in an amazingly
short period of time, quiet your mind for longer and longer stretches of time. And I am saying
that eventually you may find that there is nothing left to dump. All the thoughts that remain are
the thoughts that feel good, that bring you closer and closer to your ideal life.
A simple tool that can transform your world.

Isnt it true that often when we are not feeling well we just want someone or something to come
and make the pain go away. We dont want to work or think or have to do anything, we just want
to hand it all over and rest and be well.
If that is where you are now than read no further. Just turn any of the recordings on in this
section, snuggle up and let go. Dont concern yourself with which one will be best, or decide you
have to be focused in a certain way or understand how it works.
Just allow the beauty and magic of these recordings wash over and soothe you. Allow yourself to
drift into either a light or deep sleep and trust that your body is getting what it needs to return to
its natural state of wellness.
Your body is its own best healer. When left to its own
devices it knows what to do to maintain wellness and
will do whatever is necessary to continue to return to
wholeness and balance.
Much of the bodys recovery and maintenance takes
place while the conscious mind is in deep sleep, ie the
Delta State. It is during delta that the body produces the
chemicals required to decrease inflammation as well as
the overall amount of cortisol (stress hormone) in your
system. While your brain is in a deep delta pattern the
body produces the anti-aging hormones melatonin and
DHEA, as well as Human growth hormone (HGH). The
skin, bone density, cartilage and joints of your body are
maintained by HGH, and overall healing is increased.
One of the first things that occur within the system of someone with an anti-flammatory or
chronic illness is that they are no longer able to move into and maintain the delta brainwave
pattern. By not being able to rest in delta, the body cannot do what is needed to maintain health.
This results in an increase in disharmony within the physical body which increases the general
stress levels, and this makes it even more critical for the body to move into the delta state of
rejuvenation and healing.

The first key to working with these audios in an aware
meditative state is to not lie down, and especially do not lie
down in bed. You want to put yourself in a relaxed
comfortable position but not so relaxed that you drift off
into consciousness.
Once you have gotten comfortable put on the headphones,
turn on the audio at a volume comfortable for you, and then
practice any one of the following mindfulness meditation
techniques
1) Begin by closing your eyes and watching your
breath. Remind yourself to relax and then start to
pay attention to any thoughts that show up. Do not
attempt to change the thoughts or analyze them, just
notice them. Become curious about what thought shows up next. You can ask yourself
questions like, I wonder what the next thought will be or I wonder where that thought
had been hiding. After a while the thoughts will tend to slow down and that is great.
Just keep waiting for the next one to appear.
2) Watching your breath for a moment or two is also the way to begin this second technique.
As you watch your breath without attempting to change it you will discover that it
naturally begins to slow and deepen. Remind yourself to relax and then, with curiosity,
begin to notice how the different parts of your body feel. Bring your attention to your feet
for several breaths and note what is being experienced there. Pay attention to whether or
not the sensations in the feet remain the same or change with each breath. Then move
your attention to your calves, your knees, your thighs each time resting for as many
breaths as feel comfortable and noticing whatever there is to notice.
Continue to work yourself slowly up your body and once you reach the top of your head
allow your focus to move where ever it wants within the body. Get curious about the
sensations and just watch to see what happens.
3) For this third exercise you may keep your eyes either open or closed. As before begin
with the breath and allow it to naturally slow and deepen. And then ask yourself the
following questions and after each question allow the space for whatever answers show
up to appear.
What do I see in this moment now?
What do I hear?
What can I smell?
What do I feel?
What do I know for sure?

Mindfulness Meditation practices are designed to bring your focus entirely into the present
moment. If you take even a moment to think about it you will discover that things are always ok
in the present moment (just ask yourself at any given moment, Am I OK Now?). What you will
discover is that all the thoughts that tell you things are not OK are either buried in the past (I
cant believe he did that to me) or projecting out into the future (how I am going to pay the bill
due tomorrow).

the edge of a beautiful forest. As you breathe
in the beauty you become aware of a path
opening up in front of you.
Feeling no fear you begin to follow the path,
noticing both the plant and the wild life. After
a time the path opens up and in front of you is
a large beautiful structure that you know is a
healing temple.
You step inside and are welcomed by a beautiful being who identifies him or herself as
the healer. You describe your concerns and with a knowing smile the healer assures you
that all is well and you will be helped.
The healer either then gives you the information you need for your healing, or he brings
you to a healing table where he does whatever he does to enable you to move into a space
a wellness, vitality and balance.

When he is done you give your thanks, share a hug, and begin your trip back to your
starting place. When you are ready you can wiggle your toes and fingers and open your
eyes and smile (just because). If the healer shared any information with you that you
want to remember now would be the time to write it down.
Or
Close your eyes, watch your breath for a few moments, and then allow the breath to take
you deep into your physical body to a space within the brain that is called the command
center.
From the command center you can access information about all the processes taking
place within the body. If you like, you can visualize it as a large bank of monitors, each
one tracking a different part of the physical body.
Sitting in front of this bank of monitors is the commander, the one who monitors all the
functions and knows how to fine tune and adjust all the knobs and switches sitting in front
of him for optimal affect.
To date, he has been taking his commands based upon the unconscious mind as well as
your inner mind chatter that he is always aware of.
But now he is going to take his commands directly from you.
Very clearly describe how you want the body to perform and watch as he makes the
changes necessary to make it happen. Tell him what you want the heart rate to be, how
you want the body to respond to every day stresses, and in what ways you want specific
organs to respond.
Let him know that the world is safe and that it is appropriate and required that he stand
down from the flight or fight mode previous conditioning has required of him, and that he
can now move into optimal long term maintenance and rejuvenation and repair.
And let him know how appreciative you are of all the wonderful things he has done to
keep you as healthy as you are.
Promise to connect and visit often and consider sharing a hug before you leave on the
next breath.
Move yourself out with the breath and allow yourself to become aware of the wholeness
of your being. Wiggle your fingers and your toes and when you are ready open your eyes
and brighten your smile.
Both of these visualizations, and any other similar ones (you can allow your imagination to run
wild here) are phenomenal ways for you to connect with your other than conscious mind, to not

only get any information you need to aid you in your conscious healing journey, but to open up
to the minds ability to heal the body when it is given proper instruction.
And if nothing else, these visualizations are fun and very relaxing. And the more you allow
yourself to make them real the more relaxing they become. As we discussed in yesterdays
report, relaxing and releasing stress is a very powerful way to allow the body to heal.
Brain wave entrainment audios are not the only way one can enter a relaxed, meditative healing
state.

intensity, the person creates a symptom on the physical level.
Again, the symptom served to communicate to the person through their body what they had been

Before understanding how chakra music can help us, we must first understand what the seven
chakras are and their significance to our lives.
In our bodies, we have seven main energy centers which allow energy to flow throughout the

How to take a Shamanic Journey
1) Before every journey decide, specifically,

Not only do we see and hear constant references to these frightening scenarios in the media and
from the people around us...

and vibrate at the level of courage (and above), not only will you be transforming your own
personal life into a much better experience, you will also be helping to raise the vibrational

10 Ways to Raise Your Energy and Help Change the World
1. DONT give away your power to people. Take responsibility for your life. If things arent
going as hoped in your life, re-examine your deepest beliefs. Swap limiting beliefs for
empowering ones and have the courage to follow your dreams. Courage is where you start to
give energy to the world and make a positive difference.
2. DONT watch movies and TV programs filled with violence and negativity that drag you

During this time do not fight thoughts that come up, but at the same time do not get attached to
them. As you can, simply watch your reaction to the music and become curious as to whether or
not you can determine when the brain wave entrainment eases from one step to the next.
It may be with the first listen, or not until after the 5th, but eventually you will notice a stillness
begin to flow through your space and extend out into your day.
Feel free to listen every day for 21 days or longer. Be warned though, if you do, life will never

2) For Clarity
Bring a journal to your session and before you begin listening take a few moments to write out
some questions pertaining to some area of your life you want clarity on.
Then put on the headphones and begin to listen as you did above. You do not have to focus on
the topic of interest but if thoughts come, feel free to watch them.
When the audio is over take out your journal and write. Keep writing for at least 5 minutes or
longer.
Here again it may take a few listens before the conscious mind gets out of the way enough to

1) Grab a pen and a pad and take no more than 3-5 minutes to formulate and write down
your question. Include the statement "for the Highest Best of All Involved". This will
insure that the answers you receive come from a high vibrational source.
2) Read the question over to yourself several times as you close your eyes and watch your
breath.
3) Allow the music to create a place in nature in your mind and imagine yourself there
4) As you explore your surroundings you will notice in the distance that there is a being
waiting for you. This is either your spirit guide, or a convenient form your Higher Level
Consciousness has created to ease communication. It doesnt matter, either will be
effective.
5) Approach the being, greet him or her and ask your question.
6) Listen for the answer and as you receive it feel free to grab your pen and take notes
(you can also do this after you leave the visualization).
7) Feel free to ask additional questions and to ask for clarification if necessary.
8) If you are having any trouble visualizing then allow yourself to make it up. You may
have to practice a few times before you relax enough to allow the messages to flow freely
9) When the conversation is complete be sure to express your thanks.
10) When you are ready to return to full consciousness begin by wiggling your fingers and
toes, and then slowly open your eyes.
11) Finish writing down what you have learned along with any other observations or
feelings.
This technique does take practice and becomes easier and more powerful the more often you
work with it. The key is to relax, have fun, and allow for the unexpected. Do not censor, do not
give up, and do not reject.

Spirit Guide:Unforgettable Moments
The brainwave entrainment focuses mainly on the theta level of 7.5 Hz. This frequency is said to
be perfect to contact spirit guides for direction, as well as creativity, problem solving, and
awareness of self and purpose.

To do this it is once again time to get out the
pen and journal. Of all the processes we have
worked with and developed over the years,
putting words to paper has proven, over and
over, to be one of the most powerful and
transformative.
To get clarity and direction on your Higher
Purpose you will write out and then answer the
following questions. Allow the answers to
come in their own time, write whatever comes
to mind, and dont censor. Though this is a more formal process than the journaling exercises
described previously, it is still not one designed for the rational mind. Allow the process to take
as long as it is going to take. It may be that you answer all of the questions during one listen of
the audio, or it may be a week of daily listening before you feel that you are complete.
Also this is a valuable exercise to come back to often. We are not static, our lives continue to
