Simple House Step 3 Mental Ray and The Daylight System
This document provides instructions for setting up mental ray rendering and a daylight system in 3ds Max. It describes removing the default lights and adding a daylight system with a sun and sky component. Exposure control is set to logarithmic and the daylight system is adjusted by spinning hours and months or moving the sun position manually. Rendering with mental ray results in an image composed of "buckets" rather than a straight down render. Advanced glass material settings are also described.
