The operator-initiated action to answer an MPE-request did not open an
X-display on the operators system to enter the reply. possible reasons:
the used DISPLAY-variable, transferred to the MPE system cannot be
resolved there. Check for name service entries on MPE and check for
short/long hostnames in DISPLAY-variable. To fix this, set the
DISPLAY-variable on the operator's system appropriately and restart
the GUI to get the value into the environment. The MPE-system is
maybe not authorized to open a display on the operator's system as well.

Database: <x1>
This message contains the message text which was returned by the
database system. The message following this message will tell if this
message is an informative message or if a real problem occurred. A
possible database message is:
'Database: ORA-00054: resource busy and acquire with NOWAIT
specified' for an Oracle RDBMS: Another process has taken a lock on a
database table. As several users and processes work on the database at
the same time this may occur sometimes. ITO will try to repeat the
transaction several times. This is indicated by the ITO message 'Retry.'.
In this case the timeout has no influence on the system. Only if several
retries were without success, the database transaction will be aborted. In
this cases another error message will follow the generic database
message and will tell which transaction was not successful.
A possible reason for this problem is a user who accesses the ITO tables
with a interactive database query tool. This user should commit his
transactions or exit the query tool. Repeating the action now will work.
For more details about the generic database messages, ask your database
administrator.

You tried to lock/unlock a template which does not exist. Probably your
user interface is not in sync with the database and the template was
meanwhile deleted by another user. To get the current state, exit and
restart the user interface. This will load the data again from the

Retry.
Another process has taken a lock on a database table. ITO tries several
times to perform the transaction. The retry itself is not an error, it simply
indicates that ITO has tried to repeat the transaction. If the retries are
not successful, the transaction can not be made. A possible reason for
this error is a user who accesses the ITO tables with an interactive
database query tool. This user should commit his transactions or exit the
query tool. Repeating the action now will work.

Warning:
Since not 'All Configuration Data' was selected for the
download, the
upload may result in unexpected database contents.
Try 'man 1m <x1>' for details.
This warning occurs only if not the complete IT/O configuration was
downloaded. Uploading partial configuration data may result in lost
references (since the referenced data was not downloaded, too) or deleted
data (since before replacing the node bank, say, the node group bank is
deleted, too). See the manual page for 'opccfgupld' for more details
(section RESTRICTIONS).

You have just made changes to a registered OpenView Application (e.g.
added a new one). To be able to use this application as ITO
Administrator, OpenView Windows must be restarted. Since ITO is
integrated into OpenView Windows, you need to exit this ITO session
and start a new one if you want to use the application (or menu items or
whatever) that you just changed or added.

ITO could not find an Application Registration File for the integrated
OpenView Application that you have specified in your ITO configured OV
Application or Action. Without this Application Registration File, ITO
will not be able to start the Action or Application you have specified. So
you must find out where the Application Registration File for your new
OV Application/Action is and copy it to the given location. Also, you must
rename the copied file to the name given in the error message or else
change the symbolic link (i.e. delete it and create a new one) that ITO
created to point to the copied file.
