Client Side Requirements for A-VIEW Transmission

Internet bandwidth (Mandatory)

Minimum 1Mbps stable internet connection with one public IP address is required and it should
be connected to a computer in the classroom which will be used for A-VIEW transmission. If
internet network works under proxy server, please bypass this connected line through proxy
server and port 1935, 8700 and 80 must be opened in firewall and router.
(This 1Mbps line should not be shared to other computers and during the transmission through
A-VIEW, client will require minimum 768 kbps download and 256 kbps upload bandwidth)
Hardware Software requirement
To receive transmission from presenter and publish audio-video of remotely connected
classroom, the following hardware equipments will be needed.
Well configured personal computer with minimum 2GB RAM
(It should have Windows XP or Windows 7 operating system)
Video camera/handy-cam with tripod (Web-cam is not suitable for a large classroom)
To connect video camera/handy-cam to PC (any one of the following)
USB video capture device (If video camera/handy-cam has composite signal out)
USB/ PCI IEEE1394 Fire-wire device (If video camera/handy-cam has DV signal out)
At least one professional wired or wireless mike (microphone).
(Headphone's mic or podium mike will not work efficiently for large audience)
One professional audio mixer with single amplifier or two high watts audio amplifiers; each
amplifier must be connected with two good speakers.
(Out of two audio amplifiers, one should be used for teacher audio, another for local
participants audio and could pass the sounds clearly to the whole audience)

1. If you are using audio mixer, then you may connect multiple microphones to the system.
2. Do not connect PCs audio output to the audio mixer, if you do so echo will generate infinite
times.
3. PCs audio output must be connected to amplifier directly.
4. Audio mixers recording output should be connected to PCs line-in and another alternate
output or mix output should be connected to amplifier.
5. If you are using line-in or mic-in of audio device, a proper selection should also be made for
the audio input of your audio device i.e. Realtek, Sigmatel or Soundmax in the system.
For example, if you have inserted mic cable in the line-in of the PC, then you should open the
default audio device i.e. Realtek, Sigmatel or Soundmax, and a line-in selection must be
made for the recording.

local audio.
3. Adjust the gain of microphone by using 1st amplifier and system audio device i.e. Realtek,
