BS 8110 Data Given: Calculation Sheet

This calculation sheet summarizes the design of a residential concrete slab. The slab was designed for a concrete grade of 30 MPa, reinforcement grade of 460 MPa, and 40 mm cover. The short and long spans were calculated to be 12 m and 2 m respectively. Main and secondary reinforcement was determined to be T10 bars at 200 mm centers at midspan for both spans. Shear and deflection checks were performed and reinforcement was provided as required. Reinforcement details were provided on the drawings.
