Introduction
For the development of a scientific network amongst
Indonesian scientists and international scientists as
science users in particular in field of basic and applied
science, we propose an international science conference
2014. The proposed International science conference
will allow participants to communicate and share better
ways to enhance science towards globalisation in
developing country.
Makassar city, the capital of South Sulawesi province
known as one of the biggest cities in Indonesia and also
having Hasanuddin University, the biggest university in
eastern Indonesia, has plenty of natural resources and
human resources. Having a strategic position at the
center point of Indonesia, Makassar has been
developing very rapidly, and has been contributing to
the regional, national and even international economic
development. Given this science can play important
roles and therefore is needed to support rapid
development in various sectors. With regard to this,
Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences
Hasanuddin University would like to contribute to
enhance basic and applied sciences through the
proposed international conference through which
scientists and science users and other stakeholders
would have opportunity to share and communicate
current research activities in math, biology, chemistry,
physics, statistics, computer sciences and other relevant
topics.
