World Day of Peace: Pope Francis has selected the theme Slaves no more, but
brothers & sisters. Too many abominable forms of slavery persist in todays world
including exploitation of workers especially women & children, & human trafficking.
Let us join together on January 1 to pray for peace & freedom Pope Francis

Third Sunday of Advent


Advent has a two-fold purpose:
* to prepare for Christmas when Christs birth is remembered
* to await Christs second coming at the end of time
St Vincent de Paul Society & Refugee Collection: Envelopes
are available for both these worthy causes. Envelopes can be
placed on the collection plate or handed to the Parish Office.

Communal Celebration of Gods Mercy & Forgiveness


Tuesday at 7.30pm
We are invited: * to listen to the Word of God
* to examine our conscience
* to repent of our sins
* to seek forgiveness of almighty God
NB: This is an excellent way to prepare for the up-coming feast of Christmas.

8.00pm St Annes, Purnim (Assembly of Word with Communion)

NB: The Annual Christmas Appeal will be taken up at all Masses next weekend.
Our Christmas Appeal is one way by which the Diocese can respond to the many
communities around the world who turn to us for assistance. Our response is an
indication of our solidarity with people in need.

Nativity Exhibition

Publication: Parish Office has copies of Broph the story of Fr Tom Brophy. $20

A great way to engage with the true meaning of Christmas and move the focus
from commerce to the reality of the Birth of Christ and all that this means. A
fascinating range of cribs from around the world are on display.
