4. The length, breadth and height of a cuboidal water tank are 3m, 2m and 1.8 m respectively. Find the capacity
of the tank in liters.
5. In what ratio does the Y – axis divide the segment joining A (3,5) and B(-6 , 7)? Find the coordinates of the
point of division.
6. Find the lengths of the medians of the triangle whose vertices are (1, -1), (0,4) and (-5,3).

1. A tree breaks due to storm and the broken part bends so that the top of the tree touches the ground making
an angle of 600 with the ground. The distance from the foot of the tree to the point where the top touches the
ground is 20 meters. Find the height of the tree.
2. Prove: the opposite angles of a cyclic quadrilateral are supplementary.
3. Construct Δ PQR such that PQ = 5cm, QR = 6.2 cm, PR = 6.7 cm. Draw its circum circle. Draw tangents to the
circle at P and R without using the centre.
4. Draw seg KL of length 4.5 cm. Take a point P outside it. Construct a perpendicular to seg KL, from the point P.
5. If 3A and 7A are acute angles and cosec 3A = sec 7A, find the value of A.
6. Find the distance of point A (-7, -24) from the origin.

4. The radius of a cone is 30 cm and its height is 40cm. Find (i) slant height (ii) curved surface area and (iii) total
surface area. (π=3.14).
5. Side of an equilateral triangle is 8cm. Find the side of an equilateral triangle whose area is twice the area of
the first.
6. Point M, in the interior of the circle, is the point of intersection of two chords AB and CD of the same circle.
Show that CM ×BD=BM ×AC.
