An appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in. Always unplug this sewing machine from the electric outlet immediately after using and before cleaning.
Always unplug before replacing a sewing machine bulb. Replace bulb with same type rated 15
Watts.

Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this owners manual.
Use only attachments recommended by the manufacturer as contained in this owners manual.
Never operate this sewing machine if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it
has been dropped or damaged, or dropped into water.
Return this sewing machine to the nearest authorized dealers or service center for examination,
repair, electrical or mechanical adjustment.
Never operate the appliance with any air opening blocked. Keep ventilation openings of this sewing
machine and foot controller free from accumulation of lint, dust and loose cloth.
Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
Do not use outdoors.
Do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being
administered.
To disconnect, turn all controls to the off (O) position, then remove plug from outlet.
Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
Keep fingers away from all moving parts. Special care is required around the sewing machine
needle.
Always use the proper needle plate. The wrong plate can cause the needle to break.
Do not use bent needles.
Do not pull or push fabric while stitching. It may deflect the needle causing it to break.
Switch this sewing machine off (O) when making any adjustment in the needle area, such as
threading the needle, changing the needle, threading the bobbin or changing the presser foot, and
the like.
Always unplug this sewing machine from the electrical outlet when removing covers, lubricating, or
when making any other adjustments mentioned in this owners manual.

Operating Instructions:
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade
wider than the other). To reduce the risk of an
electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a
polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not
fit in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not
fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the
proper outlet. Do not modify the plug in any way.
Foot Controller Model YC-482J or TJC-150 is used
with Sewing Machine Model 3128.

To remove
Turn the handwheel toward you to raise the
needle to its highest position. Raise the
presser
foot. Press the lever on the back of
the foot
holder. The presser foot will
drop.
To attach
Place the presser foot so that the pin on the
foot lines up directly below the groove of the
foot holder. Lower the foot holder to lock the
foot in place.
Extension Table
Detaching the table
Pull the table away from the machine, as
illustrated, for free-arm sewing of cuffs and
sleeves. The extension table can be used as
accessory box.
Attaching the table
Push the extension table until it snaps into the
machine.

Stitch selector dial will turn clockwise or

Para quitar
Gire el volante hacia usted para levantar la aguja a su

Changing Needle
Turn off the power switch.
Raise the needle to its highest position by turning
the handwheel counterclockwise, toward you, and
lower the presser foot.
Loosen the needle clamp screw by turning it
counterclockwise.
Remove the needle from the needle clamp.

Faites monter laiguille et abaissez le pied presseur.
Desserrez la vis de blocage de laiguille en la tournant
en sens antihoraire. Retirez laiguille de son support.

Remove the extension table from the machine
by pulling it to the left. Open the shuttle cover
by pulling down the tab on the left of the cover.
Raise the needle to its highest position by
rotating the handwheel toward you.

sewing machine. Tilt out the spool pin.
Place the felt cushion on the spool pin first
and then the spool of thread.
The end of the thread should be coming
off the spool of thread as shown.

Starting to sew
Raise the presser foot and position the fabric next
to a seam guide line on the needle plate.
Turn the handwheel conterclockwise to lower the
needle into the fabric at the point where you want
to begin sewing. Lower the presser foot and pull
the threads toward the back of the machine.
Depress the foot control. Gently guide the fabric
along the seam guide line letting the fabric feed
naturally.
NOTE: 5/8 (1.6 cm) seam allowance is most
common
Securing a seam
To secure the beginning of a seam, press the
reverse stitch control and sew several reverse
stitches first. Then start sewing forward.

1 Attach the buttonhole foot. Carefully mark the
buttonhole length on the fabric.
Place the fabric under the foot, with the button
hole marking running toward you.

(28 mm). For accurate buttonhole length add
diameter and thickness of the button.
Move the slider (A) toward you so the top mark
(C) on the slider aligns with the start mark (B).

ATTENTION:

Quite el totnillo y la tapa.
Dbranchez la machine.
Enlevez le vis et le couvercle frontal.
