Violet Deceit - Screenplay

Violet wakes up in a hospital room confused and unable to recall what happened, as doctors discuss her unstable condition and that she claims to have no memory of past events. Violet later wakes again in the same location, seeing something on her hands and panicking while voices repeat, before calling out and collapsing on the ground. The story concludes with Violet waking in tears at an asylum.

Violet Deceit

By Rosie Betteridge and Shantelle Keech

EXT: Violet opens her eyes to see smoke growing in front of her. She moves
her hands through it, trying to wave it away.
Hospital machines are heard and Violet closes her eyes again.
INT: Violet opens her eyes to see bright lights and a white room. She can
hear the unclear voices of doctors discussing her condition.

Doctor 1:

Violet Campbell is unstable.

Doctor 2:

Violet is not making any sense of the situation.

Doctor 3:

Miss Campbell is claiming that she has no recollection of the events.

Doctor 1:

Shes awake?

Doctor 3:

Doctor 3 whispers

What do we do?

EXT: Violet wakes up in a different area but in the same location. She can
see something on her hands.
She begins to whimper and panic whilst moving through the smoke
frantically. The doctors are heard in a more emphasized unclear voice,
repeating their lines from the previous scene.

Violet:

Hello?

She falls onto the ground.


The scene goes back to the Asylum.

INT: Violet opens her eyes with a tear running out.

The End.
