Worked with the invertebrate collection team as a curatorial technician, performing various
tasks including:
working with the database to log specimens on the computer, ensuring
specimens are preserved in a way that is fit for long term storage, and attending field
activities such as collecting specimens from coasts

head of photography and communications with work relating to
managing the image
library and social media outlets on the NIWA website. This includes uploading images onto
the website, ensuring the images are presented in a way that is accessible to the public, and
learning skills involved in communicating with the public through various social media
outlets.
