WHY IS THIS LOCATION SUITABLE FOR YOUR PROJECT?


The location of Priestley college is suitable for the photo-shoot of the magazine cover that I am
creating. This photo-shoot is themed around fashion and I will use a green screen which is located in
PA.16 to undertake this process. The use of a green screen is suitable for my photo-shoot as it
enables me to have a plain background which I will be able to manipulate with, this is key as I want
the model to be the centre of attention of the magazine so it can attract a wide range of audiences
in to buying this lifestyle magazine.

from bus, car, walking and cycling. However,
the model I am using is a student who attends
Priestley college and she uses the bus to get
to college each morning.

The only people that may be restricted by me undertaking my photo-shoot in this location will be a
media class that could possibly be in the room.

To restrict this from affecting someone elses lesson I will make that I plan my photo-shoot in the
times that the room is free.

For this photo-shoot I will only need to use 2 meters of space as I am only using the space allocated
to the green screen within the media room.
Describe any restrictions/hazards in the immediate vicinity:
The only restriction that will affect the procedure of my photo-shoot will be if there is another class
in the media room at the time me and the model are in the room. This is a restriction as it will limit
the amount of dialogue me and the model can converse throughout the duration of the shoot.

Where will the crew work on this location?


The crew will work in front of the model on this location, making sure that both they and the
equipment is in the correct location. It is important that the crew remain behind the equipment on
the photo-shoot. To ensure that the photograph is looking aesthetically pleasing and the shot is
right.
Where will the cast work on this location?
The model will be in front of the camera on this location, and it is important that they are not
looking directly into the camera or totally ignoring it as they have to be portrayed as professional.

Loose wires are risks in this location as their lot of wires in the room because it is a media room.
Chairs are risks in this location as there is a lot of chairs in the media room due to teaching taking
place in the room.
The temperature will be a risk in this location as it is a small classroom and a confined space.

The aesthetics of the location vary from potential camera shots and the camera shots that I aim to
use on this magazine cover will be a mid-shot or close up as it captures the lifestyle choices of the
