The work is including the civil and the architectural works in the

new 132/13.8KV substation in Al-Rayyan Area,

switchgear (GIS) with ten (10) Nos. 132 KV GIS
circuit breakers and associated equipment, three (3)
Nos. 132/13.8KV 60MVA, power transformer, one (1)
13.8KV switchgear with thirty eight (38) Nos. 13.8KV
switchgear circuit breakers panels three (3) Nos.
13.8KV 7 MVAR capacitor bank & associated
equipment, auxiliary the substation will be with
substation automation system (SAS) & will be
remotely controlled through SCADA system through
gateway & fiber optic channels from the central
regional control center (CRCC).
Hail City - KSA - ABB - SEC-SOA 2011
Hail 132/13.8KV substation in Hail City, one (1) No.
132KV SF6 Gas insulated switchgear (GIS) with ten
(10) Nos. 132KV GIS circuit breakers and associated
equipment, three (3) Nos. 132/13.8KV 60MVA, power
transformer s, one (1) 13.8KV switchgear with thirty
eight (38) Nos. 13.8KV switchgear circuit breaker
panels, three (3) Nos. 13.8KV, 7 MVAR capacitor bank
& associated equipment, auxiliary equipment, cables
and civil works. The substation will be with substation
automation system (SAS) & will be remotely
controlled regional control center (CRCC).Extend the
existing 132KV S/S # 9030 by installing, one (1)
132KV GIS bay and associated control, protection,
relaying, metering, SCADA equipment, cables etc.

Al-Jillah 132/33 KV Reinforcement of the existing


132/33KV in Al Jillah Area by replacing the existing
2x50MVA 132/33KV power transformers with
2x100MVA 132/33KV power transformers and
installing new seventeen (17) Nos. 33KV switchgear
circuit breakers panels including control & protection,
metering, SCADA, auxiliary equipment, cables and civil
works with required modification/extension.
