1. Windows 2003 server (SBS 2003) and Microsoft ISA is already installed.
2. HMS already installed on the ISA Server. This has assumed as it is the most configured
scenario.
3. HTTP and HTTPS protocol not already configured in an Access rule within Microsoft ISA.
Outbound HTTP and HTTPS from the internal network/host is all that is required for HMS to
work.
Getting Started
Start the ISA console by clicking on All Programs-Microsoft ISA Server – ISA Server
Management.
4. In this Rule Applies to field choose Selected Protocols and goto Web – HTTP and HTTPS
click Close and Next.
11. Restart Services – open ‘Services’ and restart the Microsoft ISA Service Control service.
NB: When stopping the ISA service the user will be prompted with a list of other services
that will also restart as they are dependant on this service- click Yes and wait for restart.
Troubleshooting
1. Ensure the HealthLink policy has been applied
2. Check the Source and destination networks in the HealthLink policy.
If policy applied try surfing a secure website, if working then you will be allowed to surf a
https site.
