‘This inspection is based upon my limited visibility of all construction aspects of the work completed. At the
time of my inspection all sheetrock has been placed with limited access holes provided by the homeowner.
During my initial visit to the home the homeowner stated that he had had an outside agency provide testing
for some of the previous existing flooring found in the basement area. This is a typical adhesively applied
tile which appears to be partially removed. | explained to the homeowner that this was not an uncommon
practice for this type of flooring to be covered as part of the renovation process. Mr. Crampton stated that
the third party testing agency had confirmed asbestos particulates in the flooring materials. Also, Mr.
Crampton was able to provide photographs of the previous rear deck area of the home. It is clear thatan
old masonry supported structure has been removed and replaced by a larger rear deck. This report has
been amended to show a revision of code violations found present during a subsequent site visit on
10/29/2014 after all sheetrock had been removed. A Notice of Infraction will be issued to the previous
owmer at this time.
