Y3 Trip to Cleethorpes

Y3 really enjoyed their trip to Cleethorpes this

A massive well done to Year 6 who have made


us all incredibly proud this week as theyve
tackled their SATs tests. I was so impressed
with how well they stretched their learning
muscles this weekespecially perseverance and
absorption muscles and theyve kept a cheerful
smile throughout!

Year 6 Celebration
Year 6 are excited to start planning their end
of year celebrations and are looking for volunteers to help with their prom. If you would
like to be involved please let us know! Year 6
are also planning to stage a very special drama

Year 2s Special Guests!

Just a quick reminder about


checking and combing
through your childs hair on a
regular basis (at least weekly). Younger children are particularly susceptible. Keeping
longer hair tied up is also advisable. If you need any help
or support please pop in to
see us :)

Year 2 enjoyed a visit from some nocturnal animals this week.


They got to hold and handle them and find out about where
they live and what they eat.

Wanted!!
Gilly is looking for an old kitchen sink and draining board
for our forest school outdoor area. If you can help
please let us know!

Early Years Pupil Premium (EYPP)


EYPP is available for 3 to 4 year olds. This Pupil Premium grant is
provided by the Government for each eligible child and used to
fund valuable support in schools and nurseries. To see if you qualify, you can apply on by completing a form on line at
www.barnsley.gov.uk and search for Free School Meals application
form. A letter with further information has been sent out.

SMSA
Are you enthusiastic, motivated and would like to be part of a
team? Why not apply to become an SMSA within our school and
be part of that team. Applications forms are available from
School Office.
