PLANNING WEEK
Next week we will be operating on a modified timetable as part of planning week.
Instead of students participating in their specialist programs throughout the course
of the week, these classes will be timetabled to occur on one day, thereby allowing
all of the teachers at each level to be released. When teachers are released for the
day during planning week, they will spend the entire day working collaboratively to
plan an overview of the curriculum program for next term.
This approach to our term by term curriculum planning, helps to ensure a heightened
degree of consistency in our program delivery across all levels of the school. Specialists
will have their planning day on Monday 15th June - Prep-2 on Tuesday 16th June and Year 3-6 on
Wednesday 17th June.

Wednesday June 24th June is set aside for our mid-year parent/teacher discussion afternoon.
This forum is an opportunity for you to meet with your childs teacher and discuss your childs half
yearly report and any other matters that you believe may impact upon your childs education. An
interview notice has been sent home - please return to school asap so times can be allotted.
Half yearly reports will be sent home on Friday 19th June.

The Department of Education + Training have introduced the Camps, Sports and Excursions
Fund of $125 per child to be used towards school camps, sports and excursions.
CSEF
eligibility will be subject to the parent/legal guardians Centrelink Health Care Card (HCC) or
Pension Card being successfully validated with Centrelink and must be valid on the first day
of Term Two (13th April 2015). Application forms are available from the school office. Please
present a valid Health Care Card or Pension Card to the office for photocopying.
Applications need to be returned to the school office by Friday 26th June (last day term 2). No
late applications can be processed.

Special photo orders of our

School Captains, House Captains, Junior School Council, State School Spectacular
and School Band may be viewed at the
school office and also viewed and ordered online.
The cost per photo is $16.00 and needs to be ordered online
