Sand Face Completions Catalog

large-bore design facilitates multiple


completions in which the lower production string must pass through
an upper packer assembly without
damaging the sealbores. All operations
are completed with pressure and
vertical movement and do not require
rotation.
The QUANTUM packers have available stepped sealbores. They can be
run at 100 ft/min [30m/min] and are
designed to be retrieved with straight
pull or milled in special cases. The
packers can be set on slickline and

retrieved with 15,000- to 20,000-lbf


[6,803- to 9,070-kg] overpull with an
internal retrieving tool.
The GP packers feature one-piece,
self-energizing packing elements and
one-piece, bidirectional slips that are
less likely to be lost when retrieving or
milling. The slips are located below
the packing element for maximum protection from debris fouling. The packers are capable of supporting 90,000
to 200,000 lbm [40,816 to 90,703 kg]
of tailpipe weight, depending on
packer size.

QUANTUM GP packers are manufactured from materials that comply


with NACE specification MR0175 for
sulfide stress cracking resistant metallic materials.
