APPENDIX-I

GUIDELINES FOR JOINT ADMISSION TO B.A./B.COM.LL.B.

(HONS.) 5 YEARS INTEGRATED COURSE-2015


(UILS, Chandigarh, PURC Ludhiana & PURC Hoshiarpur)
The NRI candidates should follow the admission procedure
delineated in Hand Book of Information, 2015.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES WHO HAVE QUALIFIED PU B.A.


LL.B./B.COM. LL.B. ENTRANCE TEST-2015 AND HAVING PASSED 10+2
EXAMINATION WITH ATLEAST 50% MARKS.
Important Notes:

All candidates who have qualified PU B.A. LL.B. / B.COM. LL.B.


Entrance Test- 2015 and 10+2 examination are eligible for
admission to both the courses i.e. B.A. LL.B.(Hons.) and B.COM.
LL.B.(Hons.)
The Application form will be available online from 9th June, 2015 for
admission to the said course/s.
Last date for receiving of hard copy of Admission Form is 29.6.2015
(till 5:00 p.m.)
All guidelines and information regarding admission will be uploaded
at http://uglaw.puchd.ac.in from time to time.
The enquiries in this regard will be entertained only through e-mail
at ([email protected])
In case of extreme emergency, telephonic enquiry could be made on

Fill up online Admission Form available on http://uglaw.puchd.ac.in.

Before filling up the online Admission Form, read the instructions


carefully to understand the procedure.

Fill up your profile, category/ies, 10+2 subjects and weightages carefully


and lock each and every section. Once locked, the information in the
Admission Form shall be presumed to be final.

4.

The responsibility for any wrong information or misrepresentation


shall be solely of the candidate.

Candidate has to take print out of the Admission Form and attach selfattested copies of the following documents with the hard copy of the
Admission Form.

Submit the signed copy of Admission Form complete in all respects by


hand or send it through registered/speed post to Director, University
Institute of Legal Studies, Panjab University, Chandigarh.-160014, latest
by 29th June, 2015 till 5:00 p.m.
The candidates applying under Sports Category should also send one
hard copy of the Admission Form complete in all respects with original
Affidavit for Sports persons category to the office of Directorate of
Sports, Panjab University, Chandigarh. The photocopy of the Proforma
should be attached with the Admission Form submitted to Director,
University Institute of Legal Studies, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
Admission Form will be received in UILS office on all working days
including Saturdays between 9.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. and 2.30 p.m to
4.00 p.m.
The candidate has to submit the hard copy of the Admission Form latest
by 29th June, 2015 till 5:00 p.m. Panjab University does not take any
responsibility of postal or other delays. Non-submission of hardcopy of
Admission Form will result in cancellation of candidature.
Tentative Merit List will be displayed on the http://uglaw.puchd.ac.in
website by 10th July, 2015 (evening) for seeking objections, if any.
Objections, regarding the Tentative Merit List, if any, should be reported
by 12th July, 2015 (midnight) positively through e-mail only at
([email protected]).

Final Merit list for Sports Category will be available after


trials/grading by the University as per Rules (for details refer to
Hand Book of Information, 2015).
Final Merit List for all categories except sports, prepared after
entertaining the objections raised, if any, shall be displayed on 15th
July, 2015 by evening.
The candidate/s should report for counseling in person with those
original documents, the photocopies of which have been attached
with the Admission Forms on the given date/s and timings.
The candidates should also bring with them one set of photocopies of the
said documents.
Admission shall be made on merit cum preference basis, as per
Panjab University rules and guidelines issued from time to time.
If a candidate does not report in person on the specific date/s or timings
for counseling, it shall be presumed that s/he is not interested in
admission and the available seat if any, shall be offered to the next
candidate on merit.
The details of the fees for the course/s shall notify later on.
The fee deposited by a candidate for one of the course/s institute will be
transferred/adjusted in case s/he gets admission in any other
course/institute of Panjab University.
Any seat/s left vacant amongst the reserve category/ies in any of the
courses shall be de-reserved as per University Rules and offered to the
General Category candidates as per their merit position. For details refer
to Hand Book of Information, 2015.
