You are hereby advised to submit to the Personnel Section this Office, not later than
June 14,2013, applications for reclassification/conversion of teacher positions to T-II, T-1I1 ,MT-I, MT-II
and administrator positions to Principal and Head Teacher together with the supporting documents
(2 copies each) and 9 copies of Plantilla Allocation List (PAL) with collatilla in each page
with effectivity date July - December 2013,
It is emphasized that only those applicants who meet the existing criteria based on the DepEd
Organization and Staffing Standards and Qualification Standards and applicants for School
Principal/Head Teacher Positions based on DepEd Order No. 97, s. 2011 dated December 16, 2011
should be Included in the reclassification requests.
,Attached are lists of required documents and guidelines, for inform.ation, guidance and
immediate compliance.

Head Teacher/Principal

1. Number of teachers supervised should not be less than the required


number per Organization and Staffing Standards.
2. List of teachers (Local items not included) should be notarized with
corresponding
Item nos. per PSIPOP to be certified by the Principal/School Head for
secondary schools and SDS for elementary schools.

positions should be within the quotaset by DepEd

2. For elementary schools: TotalMT should be 10% of the, total teachers


in a district. Initial implementation - all MTI. Thereafter, MT I
positions shall be 6.6% of the total number of teachers in the district
and the number ofMT II positions shall be 3.3% of the number ofMT I
teachers in the district.
3. For secondary schools: One (l) .tvfT regardless of level, per subject
area with five (5) to seven (7) teachers provided that in the initial
implementation, all be MT I.
Each seconliary school could have more than one (1) MT per subject
area, provided that there is already one (1) MT each for the other
subject areas. If already completed the number of MTs required for 8
s1,lbjects, and one (1) of the subject has 10 or more teachers in this area,
the school is still entitled to have another MT for the same subject area.

4. List of Teachers by subject area - teachers (Local items not included)


should b'e classified/included in the list under his/her major subject with
corresponding item nos, per PSIPOP and notarized.

5. Name of teacher should not be indicated in two (2) subject areas.

6. Name of teacher/s should not be transferred frdm one (1) subject to


another subject area every School Year.
7. The position of a teacher whose item belongs to one (1) school but
teaching in another school (detailed) can be reclassified only to MT
using the data on the number of teachers in the school where his/her
item belongs as basis. His/Her reclassified position can no longer be
transferred to the school where he/she is actually teaching.
