Characteristics of Digital IC's

This document summarizes key characteristics of digital integrated circuits (ICs) including propagation delay time, fan-out factor, and output characteristics. It also provides an overview of common digital IC technologies such as TTL, TTL-LS, TTL-OC, CMOS, and H-CMOS. Propagation delay time refers to the time it takes for an IC's outputs to change state after its inputs change state. Fan-out factor indicates how many compatible devices can be connected to one output. Output characteristics include bipolar, unipolar, and tri-state outputs. An overview of IC technologies describes their typical delay times and power consumptions.
