A la carte Menu

 Popular in commercial food services, a la carte menu calls for pricing each food
item separately, allowing an individual to order only what he wants.

Semi- a la carte Menu


 Offers a combination of items (main dish and salad for example) and pricing
them as one.

Table d’ hote Menu


 It offers a fixed menu price. Sometimes, a selection of some items (choice of
dessert or beverage) may still be possible within the set meal.

Du Jour Menu
 Means the menu for the day, and therefore must be specifically planned for
certain days.

Limited Menu
 Entrée selection usually is between 6 and 12 items. It may or may not offer the
same foods everyday.

Extended Menu
 This offers a wide variety of selection of various categories of dishes,
oftentimes used in big Chinese restaurants.

Cycle Menu
 This menu is designed to be repeated within a specific time span. It is however
important to change cycles with seasons and on certain days.

California Menu
 Named after its place of origin, this is one that does not change.
