synthesis.
Hardware-software codesign. Test generation, fault simulation, built-in self test, test structures.

Introduction and technology directions, crystal growth and wafer preparation, water cleaning,
basic unit processes and related equipments, epitaxy, CVD and other techniques, diffusion,
