Green Light Studios

When discussing potential company names within the group,


we struggled to procure anything that we were all particularly
fond of. For a while we had not managed to produce any
proficient ideas, and many of the ideas that where put forward
where, bland, distasteful and uninspired. After a prolonged
drought of creativity, the group had decided on green being
a running representative theme for our production company
as it is renowned for bringing life to dull urban area. As a
production company, we did not want to fall into the enigma
of the dull corporate industrial world, but wanted to stand out
as a team that is vibrant and unique. Following this decision,
Green Light swiftly followed as we felt it rendered perfectly
and would concur with the same message of vibrancy we were
aiming to convey. Thus Green Light Studios was established.
Creating the logo was simple due to our company name being
so profound in a theme; I had a clear vision of what the logo
should look like. I had experimented with different central
images, such as a green earth symbol, a green television, and
other media or earthly related images. After creating a few
different logos, I had formulated a draft logo, using the image
of a star. Of the logos I had probed with, the star had been the
favoured design, thus after some changes and designing, I
had managed to create a star that the group felt looked great
and attuned with the name nicely. We feel Green Light Studios
IS unique to us as a memorable and distinguished name and
logo.
