The red manual call point is fully standardized within the European Union in accordance with the regulation EN 54 part 11.
Structural form, colour and inscription
guarantee easy recognition.

Manual call points are used for the manual


activation of fire alarms and the manual
control of extinguishers.

The manual call points are available as


limit vale detectors, addressable loop
devices or with simple pushbutton configuration.

For the electrical activation of gas extinguishers, manual call points in accordance
with EN 12094-3 are available in the following designs: yellow (RAL 1021) MANUAL
RELEASE Gas Extinguisher, blue (RAL 5015)
STOP SWITCH gas extinguisher or green
(RAL 6002) ADDITIONAL DISCHARGE gas
extinguisher. The technical design has
been carried out in accordance with
EN 54 Part 11. All EU languages and nonregulated inscriptions are also available.
The red version (RAL 3001) is characterised
with the 'House' symbol. All other inscriptions can also be supplied. Various designs
are available for adaption to a wide range
of applications:

wide range of situations through variations
for protection types IP 42, 54, 65 and 66 in
accordance with EN 60529, for explosive
areas, designed for category 2G, 3G and 3D
according to directive 94/9/EC (ATEX), in
addition to special manual call points for
atmospheres containing oil.

Incipient fires are often detected quicker


by people than by automatic fire detectors. These devices are deactivated outside
of working hours (day/night-time mode).
Alarm activation is carried out manually.
Some examples of where manual call
point are used are: Public buildings, senior
citizens homes, industrial premises, power
stations, airports, train stations, office
blocks, events centres, etc.
Red manual call points have a symbol of
a burning house, thus ensuring easy recognition as a manual fire alarm and fire
department alert.
The manual call points coloured yellow,
blue and green are used exclusively for the
manual control of extinguishing systems.
The special functions are also allocated
through colour and form, thus ensuring
easy recognition in the event that they
need to be used. The manual call points are
also equipped with a written sign in order
to avoid erroneous use.

The housing is available in aluminium and


PC plastic. The various designs are available
in diverse protection types. The mechanical
design has been developed to meet
demanding industrial requirements.

functions through loop technology.
Individual labelling is possible through a

Manual Call Points


DMX 3000
Standard conventional limit value detector in accordance with EN 54 part 11. Protection type IP 42 can be
extended to IP 54 by using weatherproof housing.
The manual call point is operated by breaking the
glass and pressing the activation button.
DMX 3000 SF
Conventional manual call point for the DMX 3000
series, but with a silicone-free design. Particularly
suited for painting and clean-room technology.
DMX 3000 2GRU
Conventional manual call point of the DMX 3000
series with connections for two limit detection lines
for activating alarms on two lines. Used primarily in
critical EMC areas.
DMX 3000 LED
This manual call point includes a red LED alarm. After
the alarm has been activated by pushing the activation button, the LED will remain illuminated until
the pushbutton is unlocked.
DMX 3000 CN/ LED
This manual call button is the equivalent of DMX 3000
or DMX 3000 LED. It has been certified by Chinese CCC
authorisation.

DMX 3000 variabel


Includes all DMX 3000 series manual call points that
deviate from standard devices. In this category, we
can implement special customer requirements.

DMX 3100 2GRU


Manual call point from the DMX 3100 series with
connections for two limit detection lines. Identical
functions to DMX 3000 2GRU.

DMX 3000 Ex
Conventional manual call point of the DMX 3000
series, for use in explosive areas in zones 1, 2 and 22
for non-conductive dust in accordance with directive
94/9/EC (ATEX). Ex manual call points may only be
used with a safety barrier.

DMX 3100 UCO


Manual call point limit value detector for universal
use with any fire detection control panel. The manual
call point can be designed for special mounting upon
client request.

DMX 3000 Ex variabel


The same design as DMX 3000 Ex, but with the added
advantage of implementing individual customer
requirements in accordance with ATEX directives.
DMX 95
Manual call point from the DMX 3000 series with
single addressable loop functionality in the Apollo
XP95 loop system. The address is programmable via
coding switches located on the printed circuit board.
The manual call point is fitted with isolators.
DMX 3100
Manual call point with the following differences
compared to the DMX 3000 series: Primarily for use
outdoors, in extreme climates and severe industrial
atmospheres.

DMX 3100 SUX 95


Manual call point from the DMX 3100 series with
single addressable loop functionality in the Apollo
XP95 loop system. The address is programmable via
coding switches located on the printed circuit board.
The manual call point has an integrated isolator.
DMX KAC Loop
Manual call point with the smallest technical design
in accordance with EN 54 part 11 with single addressable loop functionality in the Apollo XP95 Loop
system. The address is programmable via coding
switches located on the printed circuit board.
Isolators are not integrated.
DMX KAC Limit Value Detector
Manual call point limit value detector with the smallest
mechanical design in accordance with EN 54 part 11.
The mechanical design is identical to DMX KAC Loop.
