The Maersk Completer is capable of drilling in water depths


of up to 375 ft and has a rated drilling depth of 30,000 ft.
The rig is capable of operating in Asia Pacific, the Middle East,
the Mediterranean, Latin America and West Africa.
The Rig distances itself from conventional jack ups in
several areas, not least on the drill floor where the highly
mechanized equipment ensures increased safety for the
crew. The sophisticated drilling equipment also makes the
rig qualified for drilling deep and difficult wells, including high
temperature/high pressure wells.

POWER SUPPLY
5 each Caterpillar 3516BDITA with Caterpillar generators,
output 2,150 kva at rotation speed of 1,200 rpm. 1 each
emergency generator, Caterpillar 3508 B output 968 kw at
1,800 rpm.
CRANES
One crane with 36.5m (120ft) boom, 50t at minimum radius.
One crane with 36.5m (120ft) boom, 40.8t at minimum radius.
One crane with 30,5m (100ft) boom, 22.7t at minimum radius.
HELICOPTER DECK
The platform of the helicopter deck is designed and built to
Class, Regulatory, IMO and CAP 437 to accommodate the
Sikorsky S-92A helicopter.
SAFETY EQUIPMENT
Lifesaving and fire fighting equipment in accordance with
rules and regulations.
ACCOMMODATION
Living quarters block is located forward of the platform hull
and is designed to accommodate 118 people. The quarters
hold seven offices in total, of which one are with unrestricted
view of rig floor.
