Difference between Group and Team:

A group refers to the collection of individuals who share information and resources for the task to be achieved
whereas a team represents a group of people who come together and are accountable for the results. The most
important characteristics of team is that it creates positive synergy through the coordinated efforts i.e. the
performance of team is much better than the collective performance of group members. Specifically, the
differences between groups and teams are described in the table given below:
